Originality is nothing by judicious imitation. The most original writers borrowed one from another.

When I came up, it was all about originality and collective research. There is an awful lot of imitation going on now.

The bad teacher imposes his ideas and his methods on his pupils, and such originality as they may have is lost in the second-rate art of imitation.

Originality?
Repetition or revelation
Inspiration or imitation
Originality, individuality
Purpose, duality
Re-iteration of justification
Empty head, brain dead
Idiosyncratic representation
Copied, borrowed, re-worded
Or real
Trying To Be...
In this life i must try try as i may and try as i might fail or succeed it not mean thy same to me my hearts like an open book but with all thy pages ripped and torn my soul falls to darkness eternity of lonliness now and forever more until twilight vale falls upon my surroundings a journey this life seems like...
sailing here an there far and near thy starlight fades away in to divinity and eternity gone is greatness here is the bleakest of thy darkest days ahead always...
my souls gits consumed i do not much and dont bother to fight back for i would fail with out trying matters lil no more but in this life i guessum one must trry to be sumthing an succeed or fail miserably and fade away to nothing more....

on IMitation (will that anger you?)
L'imitazione del male supera sempre l'esempio; comme per il contrario, l'imitazione del bene e sempre inferiore.]
Respicere exemplar
vitae morumque jubebo
Doctum imitatorem,
et veras hinc ducere voces.
Pindarum quisquis studet aemulari,
lule ceratis ope Daedalea Nititur pennis,
vitreo daturus Nomina ponto.
Dociles imitandis Turpibus ac pravis omnes sumus
C'est un betail servile et sot a mon avis Que les imitateurs.]
Der Mensch ist ein nachahmendes Geschopf.
Und wer Vorderste ist, fuhrt die Heerde.
Paradoxically though it may seem,
it is none the less true
that life imitates art far more
than art imitates life.
Imitation is suicide.
One who imitates what is bad always goes beyond his model; while one who imitates what is good always comes up short of it.
No man ever yet became great by imitation.
Everything that irritates us about others can lead us
to an understanding of ourselves.
Most people are other people.
Their thoughts are someone else's opinions,
their lives a mimicry,
their passions a quotation.
Those who do not want to imitate anything,
produce nothing.
To be as good as our fathers we must be better,
imitation is not discipleship
Insist on yourself; never imitate.
Posterity weaves no garlands for imitators.
Imitation, if noble and general,
insures the best hope of originality.
And now, weigh the pros and cons
why have i imitated you
and you imitating me
the great writers
above speak beforehand before us
and i have not heard ever
one of them complaining
or angry
perhaps
they are not to shortsighted
insecure
and shallow and short-tempered
precisely, they are great.
and here's the last saying for the day:
Imitation is the sincerest flattery.

Originality is not seen in single words or even in sentences. Originality is the sum total of a man's thinking or his writing.

Knowing how to paint and to use one's colors rightly has not any connection with originality. This originality consists in properly expressing your own impressions.

Taking Full Credit For Its Existence
I don't care what it is one has done,
People currently doing it...
Will attest that their interest,
Has made what has been done,
More appealing.
Thereby taking full credit for its existence.
And,
Well...
I 'use' to feel threatened by this myself.
Until I realized...
Not too many people will be able,
To duplicate my originality or 'try' and succeed!

I want anyone who believes in life, liberty, pursuit of happiness to succeed. And I want any force, any person, any element of an overarching Big Government that would stop your success, I want that organization, that element or that person to fail. I want you to succeed.

The freedom to fail is vital if you're going to succeed. Most successful people fail from time to time, and it is a measure of their strength that failure merely propels them into some new attempt at success.

Try, believing luck
With out sail you can reach.
With sail you perhaps fail.
You may swim and fail.
You may float and reach.
Sometimes efforts fail.
Sometimes fortune strikes.
An effect is from bundles of causes.
Your effort is an added cause.
When other forces are enough,
Without your effort, you succeed.
When other forces are far short,
With your effort, you fail.
So to rely on fate is futile.
To rely on your efforts is too.

Victorian
An old man with a beard like a prophet
Comes behind me very vigilant
Various badges on his torn coat
And should be a retired Vice-Admiral.
He calls me; ' Son, stop for a while
And I have noticed you since a long time
That you must belonged to Victorian era
Regarding your conduct that express the originality.'
'I am sorry Sir, I think you have mistaken
And I am from Sri Lanka,
This is an imitation Victoria Cross
And I have never been to British Armed Services
But an ordinary soldier who fights with the life.'
I said politely.
I saw he goes in a different way
And tells the same story to another pedestrian.

I Believe in Myself
I believe in God
I believe in myself regardless of what others say
I love myself
I believe in things that others would not believe
I am not insane, but intelligent
I know and feel in my heart that anything can be possible
I never give up even when it feels impossible
I will succeed
I will succeed
No one can take away my pride but me
I will succeed
I will succeed
Just you wait and see
