There is a human capital crisis in the federal government. Not only are we losing the decades of talent as civil servants retire, we are not doing enough to develop and nurture the next generation of public servants.

Not because they were servants were we so reserved, for many noble persons are forced to serve through necessity, but by reason the vulgar sort of servants are as ill bred as meanly born, giving children ill examples and worse counsel.

Wouldest Thou!

THY SERVANTS CLAIM THAT ALL POWERS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH BELONGS TO YOU!
THY SCRIPTURES HAS IT WRITTEN! AND I QUOTE!
GO YE TO MY SERVANT JOB! DESTROY ALL HE HAS, BUT TOUCH NOT HIS LIFE!
THY SERVANTS SAY THIS TO ME!
IN EVERYTHING, GIVE THANKS UNTO GOD!
WOULDEST THOU GIVE THANKS UNTO ME IF I WERE GOD AND YOU WERE ME?
WOULDEST THOU WORSHIP ME IF I HAD DONE ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME BY THE DOINGS OF THINE SERVANTS?
THY SCRIPTURES HAST PROVEN THAT THE DOINGS OF THE DEVIL BE BY THY BIDDENS!
HOW THEN CAN THOU AND THINE HOUSEHOLD BE CALLED THE GOOD?
HOW THEN CANST THOU AND THINE HOUSEHOLD BE INNOCENT?
FOR ALL EVIL BY ALL POWERS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH BE OF THEE!
FOR ALL POWERS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH BELONGS TO YOU! THEY CLAIM!
WOULDEST THOU RESPECT ME IF I DID UNTO YOU BY THE HANDS OF MINE SERVANTS ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE TO ME BY THE HANDS OF THINE SERVANTS?
WOULDEST THOU?

Dirty old fire

Fire in my hair
Fire in my eyes
Fire between my thighs
Thank you for the fire

Fire gone and burned down my house
Fire deflowered me
Fire drew me in

Fire on the television
Fire dancing in the nude
Fire the best liar of them all
Thank you Fire

We call ourselves public servants but I'll tell you this: we as public servants must set an example for the rest of the nation. It is hypocritical for the public official to admonish and exhort the people to uphold the common good.

Fire on Your Finger

Fire on your finger,
Fire in your eye,
Fire in your spirit,
Fire that won’t die.

Fire in the bare bones of being,
Fire to uphold what’s right,
Fire in the heart of darkness,
Fire to fuel Love’s light.

Fire to burn but not consume,
Fire to learn and not assume,
Fire to live and give living room,
Fire to love and sing her tune.

Akhu

Nicely,
Quite lovely!
And like the muse of your lover called Akhu;
But, do you know that,
To whom you yield yourselves as servants to obey,
His of her servants you are to whom you obey? !
And like the rules of various laws on this earth,
But, it was quite lovely to see you once again.

Soul reaps sins

I own gain and loss of my firm.
My servants to it are immune.
Servants terminated, remains
The residue only with me.
Sins and virtues stick to the Self
Not to the body that’s mortal.
Only soul feels heat and cold.
Sans soul the body is immune.

Fire Is Many Things

Fire is many things,
Fire is insatiable.
Fire is everlasting,
Fire is uncontainable.

Fire is helpful,
Sometimes constructive.
Fire is harmful,
Often destructive.

Fire is passion,
Keeping hearts aflame.
Fire is romance,
Keeping love untamed.

Fire is the block of life
That tells the unknown.
Fire is forever,
Written in stone

Anger, heat,
Passion, and lust.
Every single day,
Fire is within us.

I See A New Scene

Physiotherapist advice, neck to be fixed,
moving like an Egyptian backwards only
I See A New Scene for the Government
Service Opera; a line of civil servants in
front of computers - a bell rings and all
move their heads in Egyptian style

Wagner's Valkyries arrive on their flying
steeds singing ho-to-jo - and when civil
servants fall forward, dead in their chair,
a Valkyrie flies them to a special Govern-
mental Valhalla where they are treated
to an eternal Governmental Indaba

A Vision and Mission Statement event
at a dusty lodge, endless speeches fol-
lowed by team-building games; all acted
out with great gusto to warn civil servants
not to die in their chairs…

She's On Fire

Well this is just between us but between us let's get high
In pictures I have seen her and to see her is truly fine
She's on fire
She's on fire

Flowers in her evening set I get the feeling she won't forget
And there's times you'd long to be her but to be her is surely blinding
She's on fire
She's on fire
She's on to me
And I'm over me
She's on fire

And if I could be inside her light
I would steal enough to make my way into the night
And if I could be inside her light I might just find I'd be alright

Well it's not just a daydream if you decide to make it your life
And this is not between us but between us let's keep getting back to where it's from
She's on fire
She's on fire
She's on to me
And I'm over me
She's on fire
She's on to me
And I'm over me
She's over me
And I'm on to her
She's on fire
She's on fire
She's on fire

Four in the Fire

In Babylon so far away,
On such a sunny clear day.
There was so large a crowd
An’ at a statue they bowed.
But bow not, never will we,
So before king, a brave three.
“You won’t bow at the sound of the lyre,
So I’ll throw you in the scorching fire! ”
Anger showed in his bushy brow,
As he ordered us thrown in now.
They pulled us to that place.
This was the hottest case.
The heat did rise in wisps,
As guards were burned to crisp!
But as for us bold, strong three, look!
We didn’t burn ‘cause we obeyed the Book.
“Servants of Most High, ” called king, “come out! ”
As he shook, trembled, and wrung his hands about.
That king was shaken right down to his core;
‘Cause in the mighty hot fire he saw four!
