Raw cucumber makes the churchyards prosperous.
The Puckering Pickle Parade!
In a place called Pizanna,
Miss Lana-Leeanna
Makes a lip-locking lemonade!
But the bittersweet bounty
Of Cucumber County
Is the Puckering Pickle Parade! ! !
A tart and tangy tango,
Marsh moon like a mango,
As vinegar vapors invade...
Boy, the bittersweet bounty
Of Cucumber County
Is the Puckering Pickle Parade! ! !
So befriend and embellish,
Come garnish and relish,
The gherkins of Gooseberry Glade!
It's the pride and pure power,
(The sweet and the sour)
Of the Puckering Pickle Parade!
The Puckering Pickle Parade...
The Puckering Pickle Parade...
Pulp times are had...
Dill friends are made...
At the Puckering Pickle...
Pick three for a nickel...
The Puckering Pickle Parade! ! !
When it's one-fourteen in the shade...
Oh the bittersweet bounty
Of Cucumber County
Is the Puckering Pickle Parade! ! !

The Optimistic Cucumber
Once upon a time
There lived a cheerful cucumber
In a lovely vegetable garden.
Optimistic and happy in its green dress,
The cucumber was born toothless;
Yet it made a firm decision to resist
The learned advice to visit a dentist.
In the garden the days quickly trickled
And on an early summer morning
The cucumber timidly asked
Its gentle neighbor and kin,
A yellow and plump pumpkin:
"Excuse me, but don't you think,
That you are a little fat? "
"Oh, I don't mind to be like that
After all I am not an adipose cat.
And besides, as a humble pumpkin
I would be embarrassed truly
Not to be as I am, corpulently brave
And unflinchingly yours, roly-poly."
Then suddenly a jolly July breeze
Blew through the morning garden
And the gardener stepped in warbling.
He praised his good luck
And surveyed several vegetables
Ripened with sun shine to pluck.
And thus before the clock
Struck a forenoon ten, unbiased,
The wholesome cucumber ended up
In a glorious Greek salad for breakfast.
Still, just before being eaten like that,
It turned to the pumpkin and said:
"Remember this beautiful garden
With its comely butterflies unfurled
And never-ever lose your faith
In the goodness of the world."

Salt is Sweet
Its dessert of salt
Rains mostly in night
And rarely in light
Has day and night
Color is black and white
Black resembles night
White resembles light
But its heart is black
So pours mostly in night
Whenever heart is tight
It pours all the night
Until heart sees light
Its rain is always salty
So it is very colorful
And makes life cheerful
It makes heart light
From night to light
With its salty rain
Its salt is very tasty
So drink it with heart
It makes heart strong
And makes life sweep
All past-reaped grief
With its flowing tears
Tears salt is sweet

Smiling
The beach makes me smile
I love the color of the water
And the feel of the salty air
On my skin
Hearing my favorite song on the radio makes me smile
I'll roll down the windows
And sing along
Just a little bit off key
Seeing other people smile, makes me smile
Laughing children,
Happy cashiers at the grocery store
As they ring up my loaf of bread
It's the simplest things that make me smile
But do you know what makes me smile most of all?
Being near you makes me smile
I would like to smile the rest of my life

That Sandwich
as you take that sandwich
i remember 1971
the ham, and mayonnaise
the purple sliced onions
and cucumber
that you slip between
a big sandwich which you
say is too delicious
that is not how i saw it in the 70's
you were too young then
to know the connotation of the word
or the metaphor of being sandwiched
between two warring forces
who wanted to win by killing each other
they were all civilians mind you
sandwiched between the armed and dangerous government
and the armed and more dangerous rebels
the ham, and mayonnaise
the purple sliced onions
and cucumber
that you slip between
a big sandwich which you
say is too delicious
in the 70's they were not delicious at all
they were maimed, and bloody, killed on the streets
and public plazas bombed and brains scattered
on the hot cemented pavements
people kept in hog wires and secret
detention places
brothers all but so insensitive to the
the roots of humanity
Cains and Abels
the ham, and mayonnaise
the purple sliced onions
and cucumber
that you slip between
a big sandwich which you
say is too delicious
when all i need is simply a bitter tasting coffee
without the sugar and cream

Salty Salty
Hey sailor, what you think, hey buy a girl a drink
That was the first thing she said to me
I was on dry land but I was back at sea
She was so pretty but she was so mean
Cmon boys, Im sure youve been
Chorus:
Na, na, na, na, na salty salty
Na, na, na, na, na salty salty
Hey mama whats your name, hey whats it matter
You just tied up from your long voyage
Im sure gonna make you feel better
She was a beauty she was so good
Doin her duty now its understood
Chorus:
Hey lady, whats your game, hey can I play it
Everybody knows when the price is right
So just come out and say it
She was a beauty she was so good
Doin her duty now its understood.

The Sea is a Salty Road
Come with me to Calico Beach
Where Peppy Creek runs down to the sea,
Where squawking flocking seagulls screech
And powerful pompous pelicans preach:
For the sea is a salty road, oh yes!
The sea is a salty road.
There's a tangerine sun over Calico Beach
Where walloping waves strike snaggletoothed cliffs,
Where gadabout gulls get about all day
And tangled spangled seaweed drifts,
And the sea is a salty road, oh yes!
The sea is a salty road.
We shall roost on a rock that the tides cannot reach
While a prominent porpoise delivers a speech
About chasing the tuna and hunting the squid
Whose inky secretions keep her well hid.
We shall squawk at the gulls and bark at the sea lions
Who waddle about on the calico sands,
For they tell tall tales to the penguins and puffins
While chasing the ocean away from the land,
And the sea is a salty road, oh yes!
The sea is a salty road!
Oh we shall have an entertollicking time
By the hooligan cliffs on Calico Beach
After the plump sun plops in the bay
And the marigold moon pops up to play.
The ocean fandagoes, the starfish cavort!
With vociferous vigor, we’ll wobble and snort,
Hopping and clapping by the zestful sea,
Sipping our frisky phenomenal tea,
For the sea is a salty road, oh yes!
The sea is a salty road.
Next day we'll embark in our Bumblebee boat.
On the merry melodious sea we'll float,
Where breakers loom and surf-flowers bloom
And whales and seals and dolphins zoom.
Up and down and around and around
Where mountains and fountains of waters abound,
Swigging our bubbly broth as we brave
The tempusterous blusterous flusterous waves,
How gleeful and freeful and wild will be we,
Riding the turbulent tides of the sea
For the sea is a salty road, oh yes!
The sea is a salty road.

The Salty Sea
Oh, how I love the salty sea,
And if it were up to me,
I would stay there night and day,
While felling it's soft, sweet spray.
I would sit on the salty sea shore,
Watching the seagulls dip and soar.
I would sit on the sand, soft and white,
And stay 'till the sun was out of sight.
When the sea tide is low,
I will stay while it tickles my toes.
When the sea tide is high,
I will not bid it good-bye.
Oh, how I love the salty sea,
I wish it belonged just to me.
If I could hold my breathe forever,
I would never move, never!
So, on the sand I would lay,
And wait for the tide to take me away...
Oh, how I love the sea!

Beyond Offense
What can Darkness do with Light?
The smallest light breaks Darkness so
It gives illumination for the Sight
And Discernment comes to show.
What can Salt do to things around?
Its very presence makes things salty
No motion required, this can be found
Salt affects anything - immediately.
Why does Truth shake the world so?
Indeed it reveals who we are!
It causes Anger and Pain to know
That we are all very unclean jars.
So if we had died into Jesus Christ
No finite room keeps baggage keeping
Emptied we are for His great prize
We do not need these where we are going!

In My Room
There's a world where I can go and tell my secrets to
In my room, in my room
In this world I lock out all my worries and my fears
In my room, in my room
Do my dreaming and my scheming
Lie awake and pray
Do my crying and my sighing
Laugh at yesterday
Now it's dark and I'm alone
But I won't be afraid
In my room, in my room
In my room, in my room
In my room, in my room

Banstyle/sappys Curry
If they dont know
And they dont know
Theyre gonna find out soon enough
Im so hot
As if that hurt
Did you wash it
Fester it around some
You dont even have to mind your own stuff
Bring in the marines
Ive heard so many other things
And it was all brown
With the suction ones
The ones that suck it up
And I dont ever do the eye
Till I did that thing
I bet you like a blue boost
Try a noose
Loosen the strap
Where the two metal ends
Rest your head against the steel
Blow in to the tube
Show me your legs
Help me
Show me a pink smile
Walking up the aisle
Show me the things underneath your seat
Show me your tiny plastic soft drink
A song like a squealing pig
Like a train with wheels
In the dark with the lights off
Concealed
Im thinking of you still
White room
Little legend
Fishman nike man
Red stripe
Blue mercedes
Big dog salty man
Full moon rising
Old boy salty girl
Bunny girl happy shopper
Bouncing ball
City sun
Think I found the real stuff
I think I found the real stuff
White room
Little legend
Fishman nike man
Red stripe
Blue mercedes
Big dog salty man
Full moon rising
Old boy salty girl
Bunny girl happy shopper
Bouncing ball
City sun
Think I found the real stuff
I think I found the real stuff
White crumbs across your bed
Gray clouds cover bethnal green
White jeans black top
Nice shape
Cracks a blue bitch till
The son come sliding
Naked beneath the knee
Reflect black eyes
Your knee talking
I think I found the real stuff
I think I found the real stuff

Fate And Destiny
Wait for your fate
It will take you to your destiny
You will never be happy
Until you reach the room
of darkness.
Life is nothing
Just a fate
A bundle of time
full of pains and sorrows.
Ignore it, live in your soul
Eternity will come to you
in your room.

It's when it's small that the cucumber gets warped.
Failures Are Temporary
failures are temporary
heartbreaks can even be short
if you care enough
for love
of yourself and your friends
we all fall
and we shall all fall again
despite two waking vigilant eyes
and cautioned hands
and so is happiness and success and triumphs
and conquests of your fears
the ecstasies
and joys and what have you that makes you
feel
eternity, tell me when have you learned
this illusion
of yourself feeling eternity, a glimpse
of God, tell me, tell me, describe it to me
today, i can tell you the difference
between all these temporary things, and places and events,
and this eternity that i feel,
it is you, your face that i see that i touch
is this the face of God?
