Your God is one of them who likes to be called One,

I Say With Fingers Crossed
Woke up this morning,
didn’t seize the moment well,
defeat was every corner,
whichever way I took.
It started with a blood test;
you know the type
where you have to starve yourself
for twelve hours.
The one where they can test
your cholesterol.
It wasn’t until I got there I found
there was two test you can have.
One you can’t eat anything
and with the other one you can
I was down for the latter
and I didn’t know.
I starved myself
only to find I didn’t need to.
Then I changed my Internet Supplier
and had problems one after the other.
The day was beginning
to look like another total disaster.
The more I tried,
the worse it got.
Eventually after a lot of trial and error
and almost pulling out my hair.
The problems resolved themselves
when it was time to go to bed.
Tomorrow can only get better,
I say with fingers crossed.

The Vow
The test of the vow comes,
In the latter, not the former.
For better, richer and in health are all easy.
For worse, for poorer and in sickness,
Is the true test.
Love, honor & cherish?
Myself, or the one?
To whom was the vow made?
To the one in front of God,
Or to God in front of the one?
Love will never be complete,
If we do not finish what we started.
We fall in and out of love.
Love, as a feeling.
Does the one pick you up when you fall?
To carry you through,
As was promised in the first place.
Like innocence and guilt,

The Mechanical Woman
She unscrewed herself from the bed and plugged into the energy socket feeling the warm flow of electrons as her eyes focused; as she heard the whir of the appliances all around her beginning to stir.
She took her leg, inspected it, and carefully placed it with her modular clamp, seating it carefully to test it. It was new, plasti-form and still had the charge to it from its titanium surface. There was a small crackle as she activated it with a single nerve transmission from her cerebellum. It rotated slightly, felt good and she moved it laterally, preparing to dismount from her sleeping slab, onto the tile floor.
Her right leg she lifted lofting it slightly placing it along side her new left one and tested both by gingerly standing up all the while adjusting her gyroscopes.
Her level tested perpendicular and the signal landed in her brain with a satisfying click.
There was no question about it. Her ingrams had been successfully implanted. The question was, if this would fool her 'husband.'

What is fine and where to dine
It is to be served only with wine?
I want it to be served at its best
When I am there at complete rest
Different test at different time
Sometime may amount committing to crime
