Politics is not predictions and politics is not observations. Politics is what we do. Politics is what we do, politics is what we create, by what we work for, by what we hope for and what we dare to imagine.

Just Too Much
A discussion of politics and I fall asleep, voices
droning about boring facts - after I had my say
about Greece and destitute refugees in the Cote
d’Ivoire, we watch another documentary about
solar power to save us from nuclear disaster
I black out, a solicitous colleague shakes me awake
I wriggle in my seat; next week, our enthusiastic
teacher says, each must do a speech on South
African politics discussing the party of their choice
in detail – I give up, resigned I decide
I cannot attend this class, I shall completely lose
my mind in the boredom of this, will have to flee
the subject of politics as it drives me insane, the
stink of inefficient states and the self-serving
politicians defrauding their own people
Is just too much…

Forgiveness is one of the key ideas in this world. Forgiveness is not just some nebulous, vague idea that one can easily dismiss. It has to do with uniting people through practical politics. Without
forgiveness there is no future.

Life Vs Mylife
LIFE
IS HAPPY AND GOOD
MY LIFE
IS FULL OF SHAME AND REGRET
LIFE
CONSISTS OF EVERYONE
MY LIFE
CONSISTS OF ONLY ME
LIFE
CONSISTS OF LIFE
MY LIFE
CONSISTS OF DEATH AND PAIN
LIFE
TOLD ME WHAT I KNOW NOW
MY LIFE
HELPED ME BELIEVE IT
LIFE
TAUGHT ME TO BE STRONG
MY LIFE TAUGHT ME TO BECOME IT
LIFE
IS THE SUBJECT
MY LIFE
IS THE REASON
LIFE
TOLD ME TO FIGHT
MY LIFE
TOLD ME TO GIVE UP
LIFE
THOUGHT I ACTUALLY WOULD GIVE UP
MY LIFE
KEPT ME STRONG FOR ME, MY FAMLY, MY NIECE (RIP) , AND MY FRIENDS
LOVE THE POETIC PRINCESS

An Extremely Successful Campaign
Whether you like what has been said or done,
Has shown your choice of ignoring it...
As effective as the power you have,
To prevent its existence.
Or stop the facts in their tracks.
The only thing you have proven,
Is your unrelentless support for ignorance.
And 'that'...
I admit,
Has been an extremely successful campaign.
