DEDICATION PEACE WISHER POET AFZAL SHAUQ /Heather Wilkins
The peace wisher poet, AFZAL SHAUQ,
is on a mission,
Promoting peace and good-will to all
men.
He has dedicated his life's work to
helping the poor and needy.
Looking at all creation as equals.
The Peace Wisher Poet, is releasing
his new book of poetry, about peace,
and love for all humanity.
He begs all world leaders come to
the table,
Drink from the same cup, taste the
same wine.
Tear down these walls that seperate
us, and heal our nations
Start preparing the world for a better
tomorrow.
Where we can stand shoulder to
shoulder,
In peace and harmony.
If you hear a voice crying in the night,
It will be The Peace Wisher Poet,
AFZAL SHAUQ
Calling for peace on earth good-will
to all men.

From Afar
If I cannot see you from afar
Look into your eyes, that hint of depth
Hidden inside
If I cannot hear you from afar
Whisper in my ear, rest assured that
You are near
And I know not what its like
The aforementioned
For the distance between us
As are the stars, I only have you
In my imagination
In my imagination
Just to love you
From afar
If I cannot kiss you from afar
Press against your lips, taste the
Sweetness of your breath
If I cannot touch you from afar
Hold you in my arms, keep you warm
And safe from harm
Though our circumstances
Cause separation
In the absence
Theres a presence in my heart
I will surrender, Ill surrender to my
Quiet contemplation
My quiet contemplation
Ill just, Ill just love you
From afar
There must be a better way
A better way of passing the time
cause I cant seem to get her out
Get her out of my mind

Unrealistic Are These Wishes
Some seek a pot of gold,
At the end of a rainbow...
But,
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict.
Yet...
Kept are unrealistic wishes.
And...
Others seek clouds lined,
With silver to behold.
But,
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict.
Yet...
Kept are unrealistic wishes.
Nothing is impossible to believe.
Or...
Too impossible to receive.
And...
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict,
For...
Anyone who's not a wisher!
Some seek a pot of gold,
At the end of a rainbow...
But,
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict.
Yet...
Kept are unrealistic wishes.
And...
Others seek clouds lined,
With silver to behold.
But,
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict.
Yet...
Kept are unrealistic wishes.
Nothing is impossible to believe.
Or...
Too impossible to receive.
And...
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict,
For...
Anyone who's not a wisher!
And...
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict,
For...
Anyone who's not a wisher!
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict,
For...
Anyone who's not a wisher!
Some seek a pot of gold,
At the end of a rainbow...
But,
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict.
And...
Others seek clouds lined,
With silver to behold.
But,
Unrealistic are these wishes to predict,
For...
Anyone who's not a wisher!

The artist should not only paint what he sees before him, but also what he sees in himself. If, however, he sees nothing within him, then he should also refrain from painting what he sees before him. Otherwise his pictures will be like those folding screens behind which one expects to find only the sick or the dead.

From Afar
From afar,
I can only wish you well.
Within me I can feel...
I can tell,
There is an urgent disturbance.
And a need to reach and speak to someone.
Something unsettling has been done.
And from afar,
I can only wish you well.
I hope you know I am here for you.
I hope you do.
And will let me know how you are,
From afar.

As she is my favourite
I love her child as mine
And her husband as I,
And act as their well wisher,
As she is my favourite.

About You
I stood upon the sand of the sea and,
I saw your naked body from afar;
And it was not about the cytology around,
But it was about you and your beauty from afar.
Versatile blues of a teenage's love,
And of the emotion of the scenario around;
But breezing from coast to coast to share a view,
And it was all about you and your beauty from afar.

If somebody knows who takes his last breath?
He will get panic
and no more time to think of loved ones.
Breath fast to gather more air
and he sees the ferryman is waiting afar
to cross the river.
His song echoes; 'my dear you cannot postpone
this journey, get ready soon
and I have to come back for the others'.

America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own.

Last Day
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I fear that stranger from afar
He looks and wanders
Face all covered with scars.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I fear that stranger from afar
He whispers chills into the air
He freezes my soul with a single stare.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I fear that stranger from afar
Blood red shot eyes look at me
The fear in my brown one's he can see.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I fear that stranger from afar
Step by step he limps his way
Thump by thump my heart fears today was its last day
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I fear that stranger from afar
I turn around and start to run from that stare
But when I turn he stands right there.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I fear that stranger from afar
He smiles exposing rotting yellow teeth and horrible breath
I know that this is a sign of Deah.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
I fear that stranger from afar
I close my eyes and pray
'Oh God, I wish I'd lived today as if it were my Last Day.'

True drive hardly dies
When we were under a roof,
We spoke by eyes, lips dumb.
Now away, unseen each other,
We see by voice, eyes blind.
Afar, I see you by your words
Like a blind sees by his limbs.

The Retirement Of Mars
He pauses on his way, and gazing back
across the desert ways of splintered steel
recalls the noon, and sees his weary track,
and sees the bloody imprint of his heel.
A Mars long tired he stands-a noble Mars!
Stiff with the staggering day, and fields hard won.
His bruised helm is glittering with scars
that gleam afar and spy the setting sun.
With red plumes doffed and foe-revering face
he moves adroop, to seek the sea, the waves,
to seek the sighing winds, the shades of space,
and rest his heart within Twilight Caves.
The dazzling axe is deep, its lord abed.
The dead are lying with the friendly dead!

Summer in the Bay
The bay of Cascais is empty today no ships at anchors
the sea azure and flickers of illusive gold coins sought
by those who seek an endless summer.
The town is oddly tame, from my vantage point I see
swimming pools, they look as delicate, clear tears of
a child who wanted to read clouds formation on a sky
blue as the sea. He often looks up, sees elephants,
castles and grazing sheep, today there is nothing but
ennui, it makes him sad. He wonders if sky and sea
once were one and was torn apart by a petulant god
who wanted to swim, sail and fish for his own delight.
Look, white clouds from the east, and afar he sees
a Russian schooner sail into the bay, it has red sails
and will cast anchor at sunset.

Rote Lippen Soll Man Kssen
Lately all you can feel is the rain falling
Maybe you feel this world is to blame
you've been crying.
Only
only inside will you know
but still you wonder sometimes:
Where can
where can you go? - Can you go
can you go? -
Remember me
- oh
when you feel this way
And you need someone to lean on.
And if you're ever
- ever too far away
Remember me
- I am the one
- remember me
- I am the one.
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes.
Remember me
- I am yqur guardian angel
and I'll never let you fall.
And if you'Fe ever
ever In fear of danger
-
Remember me
- I am the one
- remember me
- I am the one
-
Who will turn
turn all your darkness to light in the morning.
You'll learn when yov're too hard on yovrself yov can call me.
Remember me
- oh
when you feel this way
. . .
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes.
I can see you
yeah!
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes
Remember me
I am the one who sees in your eyes.

Uphold the love
Whether you love me or not,
Whether you mirror me or not,
And whether you try to hate me
I can’t but love you, only you.
I can’t but be a well-wisher
For you and your progeny.
One loves her child for no return.
I’m too. Should you be stubborn?

September Star
In dedication to my little brother.
************************************* ********
As I look up at this September Star,
Twinkling like the headlights on a car,
Wondering - like many people abroad and afar,
How God sees how special we really are.
Me He protect me when school gets hard.
Teach me not to live like the pull of a random card
So I can continue to look upon this September Star.

Goodbye Mr. Ed
The ghost of manhattoes
Shrieking as they fall
From at&t
Someone sees it all
Goodbye mr. ed
Andys skull enshrined
In a shopping mall near queens
Someone sees it all
Icarus takes his pratfall
Bruegel on his head
Goodbye mr. ed
Four and twenty black kids
Some of them are blind
Someone sees it all
Tolerance of violence
By the fellows with no heads
Goodbye mr. ed
Some things are so big
They make no sense
Histories so small
People are so dense
Someone sees it al
Goodbye mr. ed
Some things are so big
They make no sense
Histories so small
People are so dense
Someone sees it al
Goodbye mr. ed
Never mind the pistols
They laid the golem eggs
Others came to hatch them
Outside the pale
Someone sees it all
Goodbye mr. ed
