A good name is better than precious ointment.

Souls Of Men And Women
Gold, silver, and precious stones!
Pearls, fine linen and purple;
Silk, scarlet and scented woods!
Ivory, brass and iron;
Precious wood, marble and cinnamon!
Incense, fragrant ointment and frankincense;
Wheat, cattle and sheep! !
Horses, chariots and slaves;
The souls of men and women are here to stay,
But, who the cap fits, must always wear it.

Mary Loves Precious
Mary loves her Precious so dear—
she misses Precious who passed last year.
Precious was Mary's companion and pet
she still has her Brownie who is her very good friend.
Mary gave Precious a happy life-
she was there for Precious in her time of strife.
Mary gave both dogs the love they needed—
Mary has happily and joyfully succeeded—
To experience the lasting unconditional love
of Precious who is with the angels up above.

Precious
(orbison)
You are not just another sweet human
Youre precious, precious to me
You are not just my love for the moment
Youre precious, precious to me
Are you some kind of angel
Who lost your way to a star?
Wonder why, why me?
Dont you even see how wonderful you are?
You are not just someone I can talk with
Youre precious, precious to me
You are not just someone I can talk with
Youre precious, precious to me

All Are Precious
Every child’s, a precious one!
Every spouse, a precious one;
Every sibling, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!
Every parent’s, a precious one!
Every student’s, a precious one!
Every teacher, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!
Every worker’s, a precious one!
Every inmate, a precious one;
Every colleague, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!
Every person’s, a precious one!
Every life, a precious one;
Every soul, a precious one;
For, most have small, a family norm!
So, take all care of every life,
And don’t take undue risks at all;
Life’s most precious thing on earth;
For, most have small, a family norm!

My Precious One
My precious one
look how the stars shine bright
in the evening sky
look how the clouds whitely painted
in the huge blue sky
look how the fishes joyfully swim
in the deep blue sea.
My precious one
if I camnot make you see
the beauty of the universe
how would I dare to tell everyone
about it.
My precious one
look how my heart wishes to see you happy
if I cannot see you happy
how would I be glad to see anyone else happy.
My precious one
you're my precious one
and will always be...
My precious one
I beg you please
be the happiest one
in this universe.

Keep It Precious
You brought me to trust you brought me to tears
In one tender touch the pain disappears
I have been to the sword seen it come seen it die
As we enter the dark I bessech you to try
In prophecy all good things must end
So take care my love my friend
Keep it precious
Keep it precious
This yielding is fine this promise rare
One day at a time we've agreed to dare
Holding you tight with wide open arms
I'm letting you go no stranger to harm
Go on ride your way do not break or bend
Just take care my love my friend
Keep it precious
Keep it precious
And the wonder let the wonder never cease
And the madness of the pleasure and ecstasy
Danger believing me
Wounding and healing me please
Keep it precious
I believe in your eyes I believe in your fate
I believe we can fly on the wings we create
A voice from behind calls up anger and fear
We can silence that scream it's simple and clear
Nothing must die only if failed to mend
So take care my love my friend
Keep it precious

After Loving You
(words & music by e. miller - j. lantz)
But now after loving you, what else is there to do
For honey, all the rest is just gonna have to be second best
I know Ill go through life comparing her to you
Thats cause Im no good, Im no good to anyone after loving you
Your precious love cannot be erased by just another woman with a pretty face
And your memory, you know it will remain for it cannot be erased
Other loves may come along, they cant live up to you
Thats cause Im no good, Im no good to anyone after loving you
Your precious love cannot be erased by just another woman with a pretty face
And your memory, you know it will remain for it cannot be erased
Other loves may come along, they cant live up to you
Thats cause Im no good, Im no good to anyone after loving you
I said Im no good, Im no good to anyone after loving you
I said Im no good, Im no good, Im no good to anyone
To anyone, to anyone, to anyone after loving you
Thats cause Im no good, Im no good to anyone after loving you

Your Precious Love
(coverdale/vandenberg)
I'm far from home,
And tired of this place,
I miss your good, good love
And your sweet embrace
Can't sleep at night
With you on my mind,
I just wanna run to you, baby,
Leave it all behind
'cause it seems so long
Since i heard your song,
I'm coming home to you, baby,
Back where i belong
Your precious love,
That's all i need,
Angel spread your wings
And bring it on home to me
Sometimes in my life
I don't know what to do,
Tho' i'm weak for myself
I try to be strong for you.
You're there when i need you,
After all these years,
So i send you this letter, baby,
Written in tears
'cause it seems so long
Since i heard your song,
I'm coming home to you, baby, baby,
Back where i belong
Your precious love,
That's all i need,
Angel spread your wings
And bring it on home to me
'cause it seems so long
Since i heard your song,
I'm coming home to you, baby,
Back where i belong
Your precious love,
That's all i need,
Angel spread your wings
And bring it, bring it, bring on home
Your precious love, your precious love,
That's all that i need.
Angel spread your wings and
Bring it, bring it, bring on home
Bring it baby, baby, that's all i want.
Your precious love
Your precious love, that's all i need
Your precious love, your precious love
Your precious love, that's all i need
C'mon bring on home, baby
Won't you bring on home
I need your love...

Olney Hymn 47: The Hidden Life
To tell the Saviour all my wants,
How pleasing is the task!
Nor less to praise Him when He grants
Beyond what I can ask.
My laboring spirit vainly seeks
To tell but half the joy,
With how much tenderness He speaks,
And helps me to reply.
Nor were it wise, nor should I choose,
Such secrets to declare;
Like precious wines their taste they lose,
Exposed to open air.
But this with boldness I proclaim,
Nor care if thousands hear,
Sweet is the ointment of His name,
Not life is half so dear.
And can you frown, my former friends,
Who knew what once I was,
And blame the song that thus commends
The Man who bore the cross?
Trust me, I draw the likeness true,
And not as fancy paints;
Such honor may He give to you,
For such have all His saints.

Having no ointment and box why do you pose as hairdresser.
Time cures the sick man, not the ointment.
If you can give me no ointment for my wound, can you help me by not rubbing salt in?
Happiness is understanding that friendship is more precious than mere things, more precious than getting your own way, more precious than being in situations where true principles are not at stake.

O Precious Lord
Oh precious Lord I call on you
Call upon your Holy name
Oh precious Lord send your Spirit now
Come and light your Holy flame
Oh precious Lord in times of need
When there's no-one else around
Oh precious Lord it seems like your not there
And there's no help to be found
Oh precious Lord, will I never learn
Whether hills or depths of seas
That I will always find you Lord
When I get upon my knees
Oh precious Lord, I call on you
And exalt your Holy name
I praise you Lord and I worship you
And I praise your Holy flame
Oh precious Lord, I call on you
Call upon your Holy name
Yesterday, today, and forever Lord
You will always be the same

Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour.
Doing the right thing for someone else was like a tonic for me; it was like some magic ointment that made a wound disappear.
