Its Goin Down

[intro]
I knew I was being threatened
Do you think its worth holding out
I mean Ive heard some pretty ugly things about those guys
Ugly stories
(electric guitar starts)
Watch them flee.. watch them flee *scratches*
Rap up *scratches*
Watch them flee *scratches*
Hip-hop hits *scratches*
And you do it like this
(mike shinoba)
[verse 1]
Its going down
The rhythm projects round the next sound
Reflects the complex hybrid dialect now
Detect the mesh of many elements compressed down
The melting pot of a super-futureesque style
The combination of a vocal caress
With lungs that gasp for breath
From emotional stress
With special effects
And a distorted collage
Carefully lodged between beats of rhythmic barrage
[pre-chorus](2x)
Its going down
The logical progression on a the timeline
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey
Now its going down
[chorus](2x)
Put put.. put it up *scratches*
I said it goes like this *scratches*
And you do it like this *scratches*
Its going down
(mike shinoba)
[verse 2]
Once again it is
Composed sentences all together venomous
The four elements of natural force
Projected daily through the sound of the source
Everybody on board with this blend
The sword with the pen
The mightiest is the weapons
Swinging right from the chin
The elevate of mental states
Long gone with the wind
To defend men for shoddy imitation pretends
Its going down
Stalence emulation readily
Trekking through the weaponry
Of the pure pedigree
Cleverly seeing through whatever is ahead of me
Whatever the weather be
We invent the steadily
Its going down to sub-terrestrial high
I rhyme regiment thats calling the shots
Execution of collaborative plots
Ready to bring the separation of style to a stop
[pre-chorus]
Its going down
The logical progression on a the timeline
The separation narrowed down to a fine line
To blur the edges so they blend together properly
Take you on an audible odyssey
Now its going down

And you do it like this *scratches*
Its going down
(x-ecutioners)
X-men bout to blast of world wide *scratches*
Yo its request only *scratches*
X-men bout to blast of world wide *scratches*
Its built from scratch
Album in stores soon
bout to blast off world wide *scratches*
And you do it like this
Its going down
[chorus](2x)

Havings Are Lost

My Sweet...

havings are lost
simply scratches
you nailed my soul
left its pain

possessing proposed amity
the time
the wind
the crowd
never before
so angry as

winter appears or not
wintering ambiance
the soul cry to leave
to leave the sorrows
it planted morbid enmity

havings are nothing
simply passion of keeping by self
lost its anguish
and the engraved scratches
again howls to hike undone

Mother Chicken

Kut, kut, kwee, kwee, she calls
Chicks run to mother, and flap their wings
The mother, pecks and scratches ground for worms

Kut, kut, kwee, kwee, a sweet mother's sign
They hop, dance, jump and run in delight
A day is made, with a lovely mother's sign.

Kut, kut, kwee, kwee, on the ground she scratches
Kwi, kwi, merrily they've pecked for worms
Happy under shade, they are covered under wings.

No Donovan.

Miss O’Toole moves in her
Broad bed. She scratches
Her behind to relieve an itch.
Tries to harness her dreams
But they run off like hound
Dogs into the fields of sleep.
She feels for Donovan. Her
Fingers move along the sheet.
Sunlight eases itself beneath
The lowered blind. She screws
Up her nose. Scratches the bridge.
Mouths words. Dreams scatter.
The alarm clock rings. Dances
Along the bedside top. She opens
Her eyes and captures the leaking
Inward light. Her fingers find no
Donovan. He has fled with dawn’s
Bright touch. She knows she loves
Him more than he loves her. He loves
Her body and that alone as such.

Thanksgiving

The man who stands above the bird, his knife
Sharp as a Turkish scimitar, first removes
A thigh and leg, half the support
On which the turkey used to stand. This
Leg and thigh he sets on an extra
Plate. All his weight now on
One leg, he lunges for the wing, the wing
On the same side of the bird from which
He has just removed the leg and thigh.
He frees the wing enough to expose
The breast, the wing not severed but
Collapsed down to the platter. One hand
Holding the fork, piercing the turkey
Anywhere, he now beings to slice the breast,
Afflicted by small pains in his chest,
A kind of heartburn for which there is no
Cure. He serves the hostess breast, her
Own breast rising and falling. And so on,
Till all the guests are served, the turkey
Now a wreck, the carver exhausted, a
Mere carcass of his former self. Everyone
Says thanks to the turkey carver and begins
To eat, thankful for the cold turkey
And the Republic for which it stands.

Never Bite A Married Woman On The Thigh

Never bite a married woman on the thigh oh my
Cause she just can't rub it off no matter how she'll try
And when she gets home at night her man will ask her why
Then she'll say it's just a birthmark or some other silly lie
But he'll get suspicious and then he will start to pry
Then she'll get hysterical and she will start to cry
And he'll say I don't blame you but tell me who's the guy
So she'll admit to everything and he will say bye-bye
And he'll buy an airline ticket and he'll fly across the sky
And then he'll come and find you and he'll punch you in the eye
Then he'll rent a cheap hotel room and he'll hang himself with his tie
And when she gets the news she'll take an overdose of sleeping
Tablets and she's gonna lie on the couch and die
So never never never never never never never bite a married woman on the thigh

The Wall

I've hit a wall that I have to climb,
a wall I have to scale.
It frightens me as I look at it
and yet I know without fail
that many have slowly ascended it
but not without some scratches.

Scratches are small reminders
that occur as you climb a little higher.
They bleed for a time and give you concern
and you rest because you tire.
The rest is healing, the time you need
to see the wall get smaller.

When you reach the top and feel the thrill
of how you kept on going,
the climb itself is exhilaration
and the satisfaction in knowing
that no wall is too high, too high to defy.
It's a wall where fear was growing.

Walls don't stand forever.
They can be taken down.
One brick at a time you dismantle it
and then look back around.
It's no longer there. It's behind you now.
You've ascended to higher ground.

Cocoon For A Skeleton

Clothes: to compose
The furtive, lone
Pillar of bone
To some repose.

To let hands shirk
Utterance behind
A pocket's blind
Deceptive smirk.

To mask, belie
The undue haste
Of breast for breast
Or thigh for thigh.

To screen, conserve
The pose, when death
Half strips the sheath
And leaves the nerve.

To edit, glose
Lyric desire
And slake its fire
In polished prose.

Hang My Teeth On Your Door

Your sympathy is my simple joy
Your bossom my mobile home
Free from the thunder that tore me asunder
I have you as my own
And I hold you over rolling on the floor
Naked you say this is the way
Lets sing an dance some more
And theres love sore love in your eyes
Theres rest love rest for me your lonely boy
Rosey cheeks an ruby lips fade with every sigh
Dance in the middle an flee from the ghetto
An tango thigh to thigh
And please dare - show bare your need to me again
This is the way - redeem the day
An daily pull me in

Big Fat Woman

You big fat woman get your fat leg off of me
You big fat woman get your fat leg off of me
You feel so good
Scare the hell out of me
You got a great big leg
Got a whoppin' thigh
Great big leg
Got a whoppin' thigh
Now oooh
You got a great big leg
Got a whoppin' thigh
And every time you move make my temperature rise
That fine lookin' woman got a great big leg
Fine lookin' woman got a great big leg, Yeah
Big fat woman with a great big leg
Big fat woman got a great big leg
And every time she moves
Moves like a soft boiled egg
So big fat woman get your fat leg off of me
Now you obese woman get your fat leg off of me
You feel so good
Scare the hell out of me

Clap Yo Hands

Verse
Potter:
Come on, you children, gather around -
Gather around, you children.
And we will lose that evil spirit
Called the voodoo.
Nothin but trouble, if he has found,
If he has found you, children -
But you can chase the hoodoo
With the dance that you do.
Let me lead the way.
Jubilee today!
Hell never hound you;
Stamp on the ground, you children!
Come on!
Refrain
Clap-a yo hand! slap-a yo thigh!
Halleluyah! halleluyah!
Evrybody come along and join the jubilee!
Clap-a yo hand! slap-a yo thigh!
Don t you lose time! dont you lose time!
Come along-its shake yo shoes time
Now for you and me!
On the sands of time
You are only a pebble;
Remember, trouble must be treated
Just like a rebel;
Send him to the debble!
Clap-a yo hand! slap-a yo thigh!
Halleluyah! halleluyah!
Everybody come along and join the jubilee!

Clothes Have No Memories (for Doreen)

Your most prized dress
must confess

that it
cannot

remember

the swell of your breast

the rise & fall of your breathing.

Clothes have no memory.

It is Winter now and your summer
frock has totally forgot

the sheer sunny shockingness of being
(underneath it all)

absolutely knickerless.

Kisses like butterflies
alight high (high)
on your inner thigh (thigh) !

Clothes have no memory.

Your bra
unhooked & unhinged

cannot really recall

the thrill of it all

as my hands caresss

create your breasts.

Clothes have no memory.

Clothes have no memory
...but I do.

Ballet Lovers

Baby my
Baby. my arms
reach out to you
and enfold;
Baby I
sink into those hesitant eyes;
Baby I
feel you close

as music allows
hand in the small of your back
dizzy twirl
and then return close
short breath taken
eyes twinkle.
Baby I
feel
your thigh
rise up mine
the rustle
of your Tutu
offers too

it's caress.
Baby I
move
in dream time
and I
feel your body
offering
subtle
as your smile;
your leg
brushes up
seeking.

Baby I
move away
but too befeft
come back again
lonely like it was an eon;
and your thigh rises
having its own mind
and I complement swollen.

Baby I
dance with you
and all
flies away
as you
brush sideways
against me
exercising hidden lovers tricks
on the dance floor
and then for the lift;
I put my hand
just inside your throbbing thigh
and you rise
angel-like
on high
to fly
landing just so
deep inside my heart.
