Suitcases Don't Have Wings
Small bags big bags
Black bags white bags
Suitcases hey hey hey
For work and for play
Crammed full of things
Suitcases dont have wings
White bags black bags
Complete with one-way tags
Dragging us down
Ever closer to the ground
All the time they sing
Suitcases dont have wings
Big bags small bags
That behind us we drag
Past present and future
We cram so much in n' gotcha
We've been forgetting
suitcases dont have wings
All bags every bag
That we painfully drag
Drop them at jesus feet
Cause all ur needs he'll meet
Suitcases hey hey hey
They get in the way
Drop them if you want in
Suitcases dont have wings

Punching bag..
Have a few friends, is good,
Be attached with our relatives, is the best,
because we can make them,
the punching bags.
quiet punching bags,
listening punching bags,
tolerant punching bags and
comforting punching bags.
They are just a call away,
call them with confidence,
talk to them,
we are happy and no stress.
They are just a call away,
call them with confidence,
share your thoughts,
only to people, trustworthy.
Stay alone not good,
be a punching bag,
to others. Listen to them,
there will no stressed out people,
loose on the roads,
tears in the eyes,
clouds in the brain,
betrayal in the heart,
looking for booze and drugs.

Samsonite Man
I don't wanna do this over and over
(verse 1)
He's a man so full of style and grace
Any woman being impressed
Takes a smile and paints it on your face
Makes you feel like you've been blessed
Promises things so special
Seems to come right from a song
Soon as you begin to feel secure
Turn around and he is gone
(chorus)
Packing his bags, gotta go, gotta go
Packing his bags,gotta go
He's a Samsonite Man
(verse 2)
Maybe he is just a rollin stone
Wandering from here to there
Searching for a place to call his home
Wonder if he even cares
So many years of heartache and pain
That's all you seem to know him for
Is it you, or is it he to blame?
Whenever he walks out your door
(chorus)
Packing his bags, gotta go, gotta go
Packing his bags,gotta go
He's a Samsonite Man
Where you're always running to, away from me?
(bridge)
If the wind blows you in my direction
You'd come through the rendezvous
Forget about your good attention
Leave me lonely and confused
Mr.Samsonite pack a bag
That is my suggestion
From here on out you will be leaving
My discretion yeah
So I know the game baby
And it will never be the same (no no no no no)
cause now I got him
(chorus)
Packing his bags, gotta go, gotta go
Packing his bags, gotta go, gotta go
Packing his bags, gotta go, gotta go (Now you gotta go)
Packing his bags, gotta go (I can't take it no more)
Packing his bags, gotta go, gotta go (What do I love him for)
Packing his bags,gotta go
He's a Samsonite Man
Why don't you just go
Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, woah woah yeah yeah
You can't hurt me no more baby
You can't touch me
You can't hurt me no more baby
Gotta go, gotta go
Pack your bag, pack it up
Gotta go, hit the road Jack
You ain't gotta go home, but you can get the hell outta here

Comin Into Los Angeles
Coming in from london from over the pole
Flying in a big airliner
Chicken flying everywhere around the plane
Could we ever feel much finer
Coming into los angeles
Bringing in a couple of keys
Dont touch my bags if you please
Mister customs man, man
Theres a guy with a ticket to mexico
Could he ever look much stranger
Walking in the hall with his things and all
Smiling, said he was the lone ranger
Coming into los angeles,
Bringing in a couple of keys
Dont touch my bags if you please
Mister customs man, man
Hip woman walking on a moving floor
Tripping on the escalator
Theres a man in the line, and shes blowing his mind
Thinking that hes already made her
Coming into los angeles,
Bringing in a couple of keys
Dont touch my bags if you please
Mister customs man, man
Coming into los angeles,
Bringing in a couple of keys
Dont touch my bags if you please
Mister customs man, man
Coming into los angeles,
Bringing in a couple of keys
Dont touch my bags if you please
Mister customs man, man

You've Been Booted So Scoot
Mismatchd mates fight.
In arguments..
Over who did what wrong.
Inspite of who is right.
And which one makes more sense...
To convince the one incensed!
Both are stubborn infidels,
Yelling to end a relationship...
That has been sitting precariously,
On a dubious fence.
While anyone listening in on this,
Wishes they both shut up.
And seal their lips.
Instead of making loud noises.
And breaking up stuff in fits.
Anyone listening to this nonsense sits down.
Or creeps to the wall without making a sound.
To hear very carefully...
With hopes the floor doesn't creek.
As they tip toe around...
To get their ears close as possible,
To what is near...
And going down!
'I saw you cheating on me,
With that home wrecker living across the street.
If you believe that sleaze is better...
You can get up from here and leave.'
~You aint my momma or my poppa.
Stop trying to control everything I do.
I'm not the one pleasured in midnight specials.
The dogs and cats know that rat is you! ~
*ooo...ssshhh.
This is juicy.*
~You don't have the authority,
To tell me what I can't do.
I will do what I please!
Your booty aint that good to screw! ~
*Lawd!
Now YOU know...
When the booty aint right,
That starts a fight.
ooo...this is juicy*
~If anyone here is going to get up and leave...
You're the one that's going to do it.
And if you don't,
I'll call the police.
And when they arrive...
I'll lie to say you've been hitting on me.~
*Lie-uh! *
~Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
Pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
There is nothing to revisit.
And there is nothing to renew.
So pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot.
There is nothing to revisit.
And there is nothing to renew.
You and and I are finished...
And that door you're going through!
So pack.
Your.
Bags...
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
Pack your bags!
I've had it.
You've been booted,
So scoot!
You don't have to bother,
To put on your shoes.
Just pack your bags.
I've had it.
Get up and get out.
You've been booted,
So scoot! ~
*Don't you dare!
I wont get this excitement anywhere.*
**Horace...
Will you come from over there,
And sit down!
You are worse than you say,
My nosy friends are! **
*Sssshhh...*

Empty Handed
Here I am, take me
It's easier to give in no oo woo oo woo oo o
Some people mistake me
They only hear what they want to hear
If you're losing sleep, forgive me
I just can't keep pretending
I'm packing my bags 'cause I don't wanna be
The only one who's drowning in their misery
And I'll take that chance 'cause I just wanna breathe
And I won't look back and wonder how it's supposed to be
How it's supposed to be ho woo
There's a prism by the window
It lets the light leak in no oo woo oo woo oo o
I wish you would let me
You feel the water but do you swim mm mm oh oo oh oo woo oo oh
And it's only me, empty handed
With a childish grin, and a camera
I'm packing my bags 'cause I don't wanna be
The only one who's drowning in their misery
And I'll take that chance 'cause I just wanna pray
And I won't look back and wonder how it's supposed to be
How it's supposed to be ho woo woo
How it's supposed to be
La da, n da, n da n da n da
La da, n da, n da n da aye, aye
La da n da n da n da aye aye
La da n da n da
La da, n da, n da n da n da
La da, n da, n da n da aye, aye
La da n da n da n da aye aye
La da n da n da
Well I'm packing my bags 'cause I don't wanna be
The only one who's drowning in their misery
And I'll take that chance 'cause I just wanna breathe
And I won't look back and wonder how it's supposed to be
How it's supposed to be
Tell me how it's supposed to be
Tell me how, tell me how, tell me how it's supposed to be
Ohh oo woo ho oo oh, ho oo woo ho oo woo
Only one, the only one who's drowning in their misery
'Cause I'm packing my bags
'Cause I'm packing my bags
And I won't be back
Yeah eh yeah
Packing my bags 'cause I don't want to be Ohh oo woo, yeah eh yeah

One Better Day
Arlington house
Address no fixed abode
An old man in a three-piece suite
Sits in the road
He stares across the water
And sees right through the lock
But on and up like outstretched hands
His mumbled words, his fumbled words
Further down theres a photo booth
A million plastic bags
And an old woman filling out
A million baggage tags
But when she get thrown out
Three bags at a time
She spies the old chap in the road
To share her bags with, she has bags of time
Surrounded by his past
On a short white line
He sits while cars pass
Either side
Takes his time
Trying to remember
One better day
A while ago when people stopped
To hear him say
Walking round you sometimes
Hear the sunshine
Beating down in time with the
Rhythm of your shoes
Now she has walked
Enough through rainy town
She rests her back against his
And sits down
Shes trying to remember
One better day
Awhile ago when people stopped
To hear her say
Walking round you sometimes
Hear the sunshine
Beating down in time with the
Rhythm of your shoes
Walking round you sometimes
Hear the sunshine
Beating down in time with the
Rhythm of your shoes
The feeling of arriving
When youve nothing left to lose

Get Gone
hey, come in here for a minute
sit down
come here, cuz we gotta talk, ok
well, u just stay here for a little bit tonight
man, i need to go to sleep
yo, i want you try to understand somethin, ok?
now, just listen
And then again
You know I try to make it work,
but you and I
seems like I was always by myself
Like you didn't ever, ever wanna help
the strain you put on me, you let me down
can you tell me why, after all I've done for you and us
You know, I hate to say it, but I gotta tell you som'
I think I better leave you alone
So get your bags and get the hell on
see, because I don't want you no more
I don't want you no more
I think you better leave me alone
So get your bags, get the hell on, get gone
because love ain't here no more
I don't know if it hurts to hear me say all of these words,
but then again, I guess by now, I really don't care
Always thought that it could work
thought it could be, baby you and me
tell me, what happened to us?
Wait a minute, don't speak
Right now all I wanna see is you leavin
Leave me alone
Get your bags, get the hell on
Cuz I don't want you no more
Said I think you better leave me alone
Get your bags, get the hell on
Cuz love ain't here no more
See, I tried to do it right
Tried to make you see the light
All that I wanted, All that I needed, was you in my life
Havin broke down and for what?
Changed so many times, forgot who the real me was
But it's alright, I said it's cool

Alright For An Hour
(rod stewart, jessie ed davis, 1975/76)
Oh, didnt I mess around like evrybody did?
I said, woman, youre foolin around with a man that just dont fit.
I said, Id better get along before I get right under your skin.
Remember the song, wasnt it fun, cause it was just one of those things.
But it was alright for an hour; it was alright for a day.
But it did not last, it did not last till the weekend,
And I packed my bags and moved right away.
I said goodbye to money, I dont owe no alimony.
I paid my dues and payroll cues, gonna leave it all up to you.
Ill take my dog and my car, the best friends Ive found so far,
And Ill keep goin with the mornin sun, singin the same old song.
But it was alright for an hour; it was alright for a day.
But it did not last, it did not last till the weekend,
And I packed my bags and moved right away.
Well I guess you needed somebody to open each and evry door
With a large amount in the swiss account to give you thrills and nothing more.
But my volkswagen is hardly a custom built ferarri.
You want firstclass but I pump gas, so Ill get on out of your way.
But it was alright for an hour; it was alright for a day.
But it did not last, it did not last till the weekend,
And I packed my bags and moved right away.
It was alright for an hour; it was alright for a day.
But it did not last, it did not last till the weekend,
And I packed my bags and moved right away.

Bags Of Fun With Buster
Performed by johnny japes and his jesticles. recorded for viz
Comics, written and produced by andy partridge, neville farmer,
And dave gregory, and featuring john otway.
Whos that dragging what looks like a pink sack of spanners down the road?
His swollen folly on a supermarket trolley to alleviate the load
Testicular tomfoolery
To the rescue of humanity
It looks a lot of balls to me
Fun and japes and merry frolics
With buster gonads bulbous bouncing . . .
Bags of fun with buster
And his super scrotal cluster
Whos that lad with his cobblers clad in a disguise of some form?
When the cosmic power of a meteorite shower made them swell beyond the norm
Now here he comes to save mankind
His enormous nuts not far behind
And theyre not the salted kind
He cures mutes and alcoholics
When they first see his bulbous bouncing . . .
Bags of fun with buster
And his super scrotal cluster
Theres bags of fun with buster
See them shine with evil lustre
Buster! watch out for that revolving door
Ooh buster! they look so incredibly sore
Buster! especially as you drag them through that powerful
Cleaning agent someone spilled upon the floor
Ooh buster! why do you let your sack swing so low?
Sax swing solo? yeah!
Fun and japes and merry frolics
With buster gonads bulbous bouncing . . .
Bags of fun with buster
And his super scrotal cluster
Doctor who could defeat the daleks
If he had busters swinging space age . . .
Bags of fun with buster
And his double sputnik thruster
Bags of fun with buster
Just to stroke them would disgust her
Bags of fun with buster
If she held them would you trust her?
Bags of fun with buster
Loads more balls than general custer
Bags of fun with buster
Lots more scrots than you could muster

Unnatural Foliage for M'lady Ernestine
The hedges here are gaily clad
in plastic bags of every hue
This makes me sad and makes me mad.
these cast off carriers spoil the view.
Of all inventions which I curse
created by mans fertile mind.
I cannot think of one that’s worse
than plastic bags folks leave behind.
They are used once then thrown away.
They hang in tatters from the trees
A sight that’s common place today
waving like banners in the breeze.
I really cannot understand
why they are not completely banned.

Round and Round
After a long and wretched flight
That stretched from daylight into night,
Where babies wept and tempers shattered
And the plane lurched and whiskey splattered
Over my plastic food, I came
To claim my bags from Baggage Claim
Around, the carousel went around
The anxious travelers sought and found
Their bags, intact or gently battered,
But to my foolish eyes what mattered
Was a brave suitcase, red and small,
That circled round, not mine at all.
I knew that bag. It must be hers.
We hadnt met in seven years!
And as the metal plates squealed and clattered
My happy memories chimed and chattered.
An old man pulled it of the Claim.
My bags appeared: I did the same.

Shopping Bags
I hate these shopping bags
They weigh my body down
They keep me on the beaten track
They break every bone in my back
To a doctor's note i must defer
My life, I do concur
For what may be must be
And what may not be cannot see
I'll throw away my shopping bags
And see how far you throw me
To Guava, Java, Bali, Mali
To study, to lecture, to teach, to hurt
To suckle the teat of wisdom that does not exist
But whatever the sucklers say
The revolution has begun
It is within our hearts and minds
Because if one human, not a man nor a woman
Can preach like John Paul to mass
Like Darwin to a class
Like Kennedy to a nation
Like King for a tiny piece of salvation
Then we can all dropp our shopping bags

Green Bananas
Does anyone eat green bananas?
then why have them in the stores?
By the time you think of eating one ripe!
they're full of fruit flies, in the hundreds or maybe more!
My husband loves green bananas
he says, cause they're solid and much more flavorful.
I think they taste kind of green and bitter
with every green and bitter mouthful!
I wonder if monkeys eat them green?
Or do they also wait until they're ripe?
Just peeling them when they're green
leaves those long stringy things of white!
I've taken to freezing mine now
in plastic bags, for my daily protien shakes!
Now I don't have to worry about the ones that turn black!
From the green ones that I wouldn't take!

Now So Close To Coke
Lets forget our mistakes for our futures sake
Lets get out of this town
coz we need to escape this pain and heart ache
lets get out of this city
I cant take these Manchester fumes they intoxicate
its not to late for you to come with me
Can't you see that you and I can leave this life?
can't you see its like, all you ever wanna do is fight?
Im gonna make you believe there is a day for us
believe there is a day for us that shines bright
there is a place for us a place that we can find
so come on lets pack our bags and leave tonight.
The boy you see is not the man your mother raised you to be
who you looking at? Im just your friend so dont look at me
just walk away, just go, just go and close the cubicle door
and when you come out go down and remember you dont need me anymore
Can't you see that you and I can leave this life?
Can't you see its like, all you ever wanna do is fight?
I'm gonna make you believe there is a day for us
believe there is a day for us that shines bright
there is a place for us a place that we can find
so come on lets pack our bags and leave tonight.
were free, we can fly to the sky, up into space
her names in my head but I can only remember her face
what does it matter shes got what I want at her place
shes got what I want but Im struggling to breathe my heart is starting to race.
Can't you see that you and I can leave this life?
Can't you see its like, all you ever wanna do is fight?
I'm gonna make you believe there is a day for us
believe there is a day for us that shines bright
there is a place for us a place that we can find
so come on lets pack our bags and leave tonight.

The brown bag, of course, had its imperfections. While some kids carried roast beef sandwiches, others had peanut butter. I have no way of knowing if all of those brown bags contained 'nutritionally adequate diets.' But I do know that those brown bags and those lunch pails symbolized parental love and responsibility.

Rain
Well I wope up one morning
Seen my baby fly away
Sugar dont go
She said I dont be treatin her
Right by the things I say
Sugar dont go
Dont go, I feel Ill be left alone
And Ill cry
Oh in the rain
Early one morning I packed her bags
She said she gotta leave me now
Ive done her wrong
I said baby Im gonna change
Gonna change for the better
Sugar dont go
You cant be leaving me so alone
And Ill cry in the rain
In the rain
Oh in the rain
In the rain
Sugar go
Now sugar go you leave me alone
As you packed your bags
Youve got your plane on the road
I said oh whyd you leave
Oh whyd you leave
You gotta leave me alone
Im feeling sad
Im feeling sad
You gotta back off
Baby you treat me
Baby you treat me
My life and I could take my time
I lose it
What I have
Is what I have
Is what I give to you
And I feel Im gone
Ive been crying
What you gonna do
Who you gonna see
Where you gonna pack your bags
And where you gonna stay
Say where you gonna go
Who you gonna ho
Where you gonna lay your hat today
I said what you gotta change what you gonna do
Where you gonna lay your mines down
What you gonna do
What you gonna take
Where you gonna go baby
Who you gonna
Stay with me again
I said move it on
Oh I said move it on
I said move it on
Oh wont you move it on down the line
Well on down the line
I said pack your bags now baby
You gotta move it on down the line
I said I wanna tell you
Say, what you gonna do
Who you gonna stay
Where you gonna ho your ass out all over town
Baby, where you gonna go
Who you gonna see
What you gonna do with your time
I said what you gonna do
Who you gonna take
Where you gonna lay your hat down
Where you gonna call your home
Where you gonna go
Who you gonna see
What you gonna do with your time
I said move it on
Oh wont you move it on
I said move it on
Hey you gotta move it on down the line
Well on down the line
I said move it on down
I said move it on down
Said what you gonna do
Where you gonna stay
Who you gonna ho your ass out
Baby where you lay your hat today
I said what you gonna do
Who you gonna see
Where you gonna go and spend your time to be
Baby,
What you gonna do
Who you gonna see
Where you gonna go
When I set you free
I said move it on
Oh wont you move it on
Hey move it on
Oh wont you move it on down
On down the line
Oh baby, I said baby
I said baby
I said baby
I said what you gonna do you with your time now woman
You got asked to leave now
Pack your bags you gotta go
Where you gonna go
Who you gonna see
When you lay your hat down tighter
I said move it on

Reservation For One
This is my tree, my tree, my tree,
My one lone tree, pear tree,
It grows, overflows, it grows it’s fruit,
Alone, only for me.
If I could go to a far-away place,
With just me and my tree, pear tree,
I’d pack my bags, my bags I’d pack,
I’d pick up my bags and flee.
There’s nothing at all, no nothing,
At all, that films me more with glee,
Than those globes, those globes,
Of precious fruit in my tree, pear tree.
I sit beneath, beneath I sit,
Its laden canopy, I polish it’s leafs then,
Set a table of fruits,
Of wine, and bread and brie.
This tree, my tree, could feed the world,
Find me a wife and camaraderie,
It’s powers, it’s powers are vast but I
Can’t pass on its secret sadly.
I’d tell the world, the world I’d tell,
If they weren’t all so hungry, you see.
But my fruit, my fruits, my laboured.
Fruits, I grew only for me, for me,
No none are as hungry as me.

Leaving Home
My bags are packed
and I’m leaving home.
My old heart wants to roam.
I don’t know where I am going
and I don’t know how long I’ll be gone
or when I’ll be back again.
There is wanderlust in my soul,
a call I have to answer.
My bags are packed
and I am leaving today.
I will be back when my wanderings are though.
How many days that will be,
is hard to tell, only that I must go.
