Marquis de Sade

Never lose sight of the fact that all human felicity lies in man's imagination, and that he cannot think to attain it unless he heeds all his caprices. The most fortunate of persons is he who has the most means to satisfy his vagaries.

In this moment when we face horizons and conflicts wider than ever before, we want our resources, the ways of strength. We look again to the human wish, its faiths, the means by which the imagination leads us to surpass ourselves. If there is a feeling that something has been lost, it may be because much has not yet been used, much is still to be found and begun. Everywhere we are told that our human resources are all to be used, that our civilization itself means the uses of everything it has — the inventions, the histories, every scrap of fact. But there is one kind of knowledge — infinitely precious, time-resistant more than monuments, here to be passed between the generations in any way it may be: never to be used. And that is poetry.

Sacred And Eternal

I am fortunate to be a poet with words periodical
I am fortunate to write poems sacred and eternal.

I am fortunate to see the world in new look
I am fortunate to be in poetic imagination
With evergreen colors sacred and eternal.

I am fortunate to be a part and parcel of the world
That is yours and only yours
And you are for all sacred and eternal.

Simple imagination

It is simple imagination and lovely try
Nice to feel even if no means to fly
Weak wings yet motives so high
That is the beauty in it with sadness to cry

In practical life it is impossible to attain
Whatever ideas we have and capacity to retain
It may not find favor with close circle
Annoy them and create more trouble

Poetry is only means to express in words
Touch the nerves and look inward
Give simple try for feelings to come out
Tell the world what you are thinking about

It may not only satisfy you
But air the views which you may think very true
Cut across the hard lines and get through
Assuage the feelings and simply woe

You have no restriction to travel and come back
No loss or gain yet so much is at stake
People may know what can be best alternative
If they are really fed up and wanted to be subjective

Wars have been averted in the past
The peace and stability had come at last
People have come closer through the easy medium
The impact will be so large with efforts bare minimum

The artists and performers use fancy and imagination
That is how they build a bond with closer relation
Leave behind a trail of long live friendship
As if the sea is facilitating flotilla of the ships

There Are Times

when you lose grip of
something poetic
when the moon is just a moon
when a bleeding heart does
not occupy any significance
when a vacant lot is just another empty space
you lose sight of the possibility
of someone coming to save you
someone that smiles though
you do not know who that person is
there are times when everything is bland
when a hamburger does not
satisfy hunger
when you lose sight of what once
was beautiful
when horses pass your way
and you are not moving
to feel the ride
when you just sit there and
do nothing
these are the times
when you begin to think
you realize
you are still alive.

Yes

Yes it is this word that has its glory,
The power saturated in it has infinite story,
Yes means to pull out, it means to drag;
It is a genuine force,
To enforce unleashed facts,
Yes just spell it and feel the charm full delight,
That yes is so powerful to anticipate the latch,
The once when you hear it, it is a great act,
Your tact is aroused at once,
Mark this great fact….
No is not the word you will find in your good act,
It is always said by those who never greet such act,
Yes listen to such you should know their facts,
Yes always listen to yes that is the greatest act,
Wisdom lies in those who dare to act,
Not as person nor as man,
Listen to your within,
Yes there lies the power,
Be a True Human,
Then yes would be surrounder,
You act,
You will thus feel the feel; the yes is now in fact,
The Magic is just there in you just need to glare,
Yes you now read it! ! ! !
Yes is your act! ! ! ! ! ! !
This is now you would go! ! !
Hop on dear pal! ! !

A Poem also About Duplicity

It would be unfortunate if the idea of multiple selves
obscured the fact the self is still
responsible for the terror it makes in the mind.

It would be a mistake if the multiple meanings
of words like torture disguised the fact
we are torturers, with lessened concern about it.

It would be tragic if the loss of multiple relationships
to the unconscious
obviated the possibility
of minding a more responsible life.
I say this as someone who minds
what insanity means, not what we are coming to think.

Imagination means so much;
so much depends on what's under.

If being wealthy is taken to mean having the means to satisfy one's every want, all but the very poor can become rich as thou at a single stroke of a magician's wand, simply by ceasing to want more than is really necessary for sustaining life. By being content with little and not giving a rap for what the neighbours think, one can attain a very large measure of freedom, shedding care and worry in a trice.

A Riddle...

if only
you did not lie
i could have written more
perhaps
more truths than we
can bear

but since you tell the
biggest lie today
despite the
warnings

i guess, i have to
quit
for lies do not interest me
anymore
i have more that you can
ever tell me

in fact i live in the house of
lies
play in the garden of
lies
eat on the table
have breakfast
drink from the glass
and satisfy myself
with a burp
all lies, all lies,

those lilies of the fields
floating on the marshes
tadpoles and
mosquitoes
snakes and rats

these are the only truths
we have
in this predator-prey
world
dog eating dogs
cats befriending mice
heavens
compromising with
root canals.

A.J. Muste

We belong to the Society of Friends, a community of love, a family of persons. In so far as we are not just another “denomination,” we know also that the salvation of our age is in our keeping; that is, that it lies in the divine-human society which is "rooted and grounded in love." This is the unity which alone can make one world out of "one world", and not one nightmare, one hell, one burned-out cinder. We know also and in a way we respond to the fact that we have a mission, we are "called to be saints".

Electric Jewels

(myles goodwyn/jim clench)
Published by summerlea music, ltd. - bmi
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Youve been had by a fool, hes been all over you
And youve been seen in a dream, well I guess its true
Now what you gonna do (ooh), and what you gonna say (hey)
The captains heard the news (news), that someone has to pay (hey)
That someone has to pay
Weve been down for awhile, and still we cant agree
Dont be mad, dont be sad, change is all we need
Im beggin you, if you please, it means so much to me
Ill beg you, if you please, it means so much to me
Now its time to choose, no one has to lose
When it could be right, now maybe
Theres some hope in sight, ooh, I hope Im right
Electric jewels, in hands of fools, then throw it all at me
Heres my life, heres my dreams, now wont you set me free
Im beggin with you, please, it means so much to me
Im beggin with you, please, it means so much to me
Now its time to choose, no one has to lose
When it could be right, now maybe
Theres some hope in sight, ooh baby, ooh baby, ooh
Speaking in a dream, of a land hes never seen
And he says its true, says hed love to be with you
So listen while you can, and Ill tell you of a man
Who would sell the world, though it seems absurd, its true
Id do it for you

Joyous And Exhilarated By Factories

I am keen, exhilarated by commanders so joyous,
Transported by ecstasy, and honeymooned by success,
The extreme weather carries a piquancy much desired
For the human heart and lungs, the organs of ravishment.

Raw success is cunning, it is keen as I am,
I am fortunate to reacquire it, so reactants are joyous,
May the felicity and joy be cylinders of love,
To construct and fuel the factories of real snugness.

The Way I Choose

I live my life the way that I choose
I'm satisfied, nothing to lose
I don't ask no favor, I don't know the reason why
If I don't ask no questions, I, I don't get no lies
I don't get no lies
You give your love tederly
Every way that you move is closer to me
I don't need nobody to tell me the reason why
If I love only you baby, I'll be satisfied
Baby answer my question
If you won't say hello, don't say goodbye
I don't need nobody to tell me the reason why
If I love only you baby I'll be satisfied
You know I'll be satisfied
Because because because you satisfy my love
You satisfy my love
Don't say goodbye and leave me to cry
Don't say goodbye
Girl you're walking away

Desire

Late night
Party time
All around me
The room is jumping
This feeling I can't contain it
Got me reeling
My blood is pumping
Your eyes move
Like on my body
And the headlights
The heat is rising
Nothing that I can do
Can't stop me from wanting you
I'm losing my self control
If I lose my mind
Touching you tonight
I can't help myself
Gotta satisfy my desire
If I cross the line
If I run this red light
I can't help myself
Gotta satisfy my desire
My desire
Right here
Right now
Pure adrenalin
Pure bliss
As you hold me
Go still
And then we kiss
Nothing that I can do
Can't stop me from wanting you
I'm losing my self control
If I lose my mind
Touching you tonight
I can't help myself
Gotta satisfy my desire
If I cross the line
If I run this red light
I can't help myself
Gotta satisfy my desire
My desire
My desire, my desire, my desire, my desire, my desire
If I lose my mind
Touching you tonight
I can't help myself
Gotta satisfy my desire
If I cross the line
If I run this red light
I can't help myself
Gotta satisfy my desire
My desire
My desire, my desire, my desire, my desire, my desire

Live your life.

Happiness in focus,
If it means dumping your spouse
To attain it, so be it.

Pleasure in vision,
If it means dumping monogamy
To attain it, so be it.

Carnal desire tempting,
If a woman steals her friend’s husband,
Be it a truth not probed.

Variety in demand,
If a man cheats his friend of his wife,
Be it a truth not deducted.

A dumped one is not
An unfortunate lot in that
Another suitor would come.

Be the dumping decent,
Both splitting with heads high
So that they fetch suitable pairs.

Happiness

Happiness in the dictionary pages

ricochets between
hap and hapless,

good luck and bad
Fortuna, Joy, Felicity

Aptness and Prosperity-
all aligned.

Happiness it seems
Has nothing to do with fair and unfair.
right and wrong
it is hit or miss
luck and unlucky-
vagaries.

Indigestible this.

My grandmother smiles:
“now there child” she used to say
“ok to be born rich
better to be born lucky.”

But, in America we are only guaranteed
happiness's Pursuit and it's Uncertainty.

Accidents of life
rule my chances at felicity?

What now to guide my dreams?

Fortuna's fates gamble
with my dusty dry uncertainties;
hoisted up or down the landscape-

wrangled Hope on a card game table?

Life's branding is: 'no guarantees.'

How many lives
random touched
careen direction-less?
Sad.
Wish I hadn't read the dictionary
but, again,
no such luck.
Hard Truth.

My Privilege

A small girl dances unselfconsciously.
Quite unaware she has an audience
Dancing to music only she can sense
She’s so engrossed she does not notice me
I think that I am fortunate to see
A dance that has no trace of false pretence.
She dances naturally with confidence
A sight which enraptures me completely.

How sad it is to know that she will grow.
and sadly lose her childish innocence.
No more to dance so unselfconsciously.
By hard experience she will come to know
That she must wear a mask in self defence
and never ever show what lies below.
