In this moment when we face horizons and conflicts wider than ever before, we want our resources, the ways of strength. We look again to the human wish, its faiths, the means by which the imagination leads us to surpass ourselves. If there is a feeling that something has been lost, it may be because much has not yet been used, much is still to be found and begun. Everywhere we are told that our human resources are all to be used, that our civilization itself means the uses of everything it has — the inventions, the histories, every scrap of fact. But there is one kind of knowledge — infinitely precious, time-resistant more than monuments, here to be passed between the generations in any way it may be: never to be used. And that is poetry.

Let us celebrate

Celebration means rejoicing
An achievement
An advancement
A successful accomplishment
A commemoration

In all these
There were efforts
Struggles against odds and
Challenges
Greater the effort
Tougher the struggle
Grander the celebration
Examine the celebrations
We launch normally

We celebrate birthdays
Wedding days
Marriages
An elevation in social or professional status
An acquisition of property
Nationally or politically important events
A range of festivals depending on the faiths we tag on

How many of them
Deserve being celebrated

You will come to know
Some of them, if not many
Need no celebration
As there were no efforts of ours
And there were no struggles

Then why do we celebrate
We celebrate because
Others do so or
We can afford to do so

Time has come
Where there is a limitation on resources
Resources here mean
Those we are endowed by nature
Not those that are man made
And available at a price

Many celebrations denude nature
Of its priceless resources
And we consume these non-renewable and
Non-replenishable resources
Just to show we can do that
And in the name of celebrations
Which do not really mark any
Achievement or accomplishment
Following our effort or struggle

Let us celebrate
But let us restrict the number of celebrations
So that the future generations too
Will have something to celebrate

Why Are We So Greedy

To the Earth Mother who feeds us disrespect we do pay
That future generations may have to pay for one day
Of stealing from Nature's resources billions some do make
Why are we so greedy that we take and we take?
In disrespect for Nature through innocence lost
The success of us humans could come at a cost
The ways of Mother Nature we do not understand
We pollute the air, seas, waterways and land
'Tis Nature resources made the oil dealer a billionaire
Yet of Nature's beauty such types not aware
We do not own Nature though to her we belong
And to her many of us have done wrong
And for our crimes against her future generations may yet pay
That seems a sad thing for to have to say.

It's All Future Life We Betray

For our children will there be a tomorrow,
That's our responsibility now,
Are we leaving them with heartbreak and sorrow?
Will it be misery on them we endow?

Are we doing enough to ensure a good life?
For all of our future generations,
Or will we leave them with nothing but strife,
All caused by our present creations.

Nuclear power and our weapons of woe,
Are now getting out of control,
Mass destruction created wherever we go,
We are tearing out our Earths soul.

Our resources on Earth are dwindling fast,
As each second another life is born,
Less to go round means before time has passed,
We leave someone else feeling forlorn.

If we continue on our present course,
Our species future will be in serious doubt,
Humans from reality they tend to divorce,
It's the very laws of nature we flout.

Would you watch your child starving to death?
While you eat your ten course meal,
Well we watch as others take their last breath,
Without giving a damn how they feel.

We have the resources we have the power,
To alleviate their suffering forever,
But mention the cost and the financiers glower,
It's neither cost effective nor clever.

Profit is what motivates the Human Being,
Not morality or sympathy for others,
The starving can die whilst the rich are out skiing,
Self-interest and greed are what smothers.

When we leave the vulnerable unable to cope,
To ensure we enjoy life today,
As they die in despair without any hope,

‘' It's All Future Life We Betray ‘'

Enjoy, be comfortable and celebrate each moment

Each moment is fleeting
No moment stays on
Irrespective of your having
Enjoyed it or otherwise
Been in comfort with it or otherwise or
Celebrated it or otherwise
Each moment is fleeting

It is your normal desire
To hold on to each moment
And to consciously enjoy it
Allowing the next moment to come in
At your will

You will enjoy, be comfortable and celebrate
Each moment of yours by
Non-emotionally acting upon
Issues of the moment
With your best of skills so that
You are out of the issues effectively
And relieved of the same once and for all

You will enjoy, be comfortable and celebrate
Each moment of yours by
Helping others in your possible ways
So that they can help themselves
And by sharing your resources
To the possible extent with those less resourceful
So that they can build up their own resources
And become self-reliant

You will enjoy, be comfortable and celebrate
Each moment of yours by
Involving yourselves in activities
That will create and pave way
For newer strengths in you
To broaden your resource-base
So that you will await new challenges of time
With a better vigour and wider knowledge

You will enjoy, be comfortable and celebrate
Each moment of yours by
Being creative, innovative and by
Exploring your inner potential
In artful and soul soothing initiatives
So that you are always alive
To the demands of the situation
This will help you relieved of
The reminiscences of the painful past
And the dreams of the non-existent future

You will enjoy, be comfortable and celebrate
Each moment of yours by
Seeking divine guidance and assistance
In taking positive decisions
When being confronted with
So far unknown challenges

Enjoy, be comfortable and celebrate each moment
Which is just fleeting and will soon not be yours

Still In a Processing Called Progress

I am not the one,
To empathize with those...
Who have sat on cushioned booties,
That have begun to bottom out.

I can not consider feeling remorse,
For those who have spent their lives
In complaint and in comparison of others.
Those who wake up in the morning,
With only one thing on their minds...
How to best manipulate someone,
From something they wished they had.
And do their best to get!
And stealing it without one sign of regret!

And how can someone have no remorse,
For denying another human the right to live...
Without plagiarizing their inventions or lifting their resources.
And then return to make claims for the land!
With all of their symbolic religious splendor.
Pepared and ready to teach the way of the demon.
And to see to it,
Just what sins are understood...
To commit!
And ultimately come to them to beg forgiveness!
What mindset is that...
Which spreads this kind of cancer?

That answer will not be forthcoming.
Since these misdeeds,
Are still in a processing called progress!

Human Touch, The

C. reuben
No one seems to care as much
No time to smile, laugh or cry as much
Have we lost the touch that means so much
Have we lost the human touch
No one wants to be alone
To walk or talk and sleep and weep alone
Have we lost the touch that does so much
Have we lost the human touch
Touch me now and let me know
Hold me tight so i can go
Through this misery unafraid
And really knowin' what lift is all about
No one wants to live alone
Who wants to smile, laugh or cry alone
Have we lost the touch that means so much
Have we lost the human touch
Yes, yes, yes

Let's demonstrate we are civilized in the real sense

The tilling of land
The finding of the use of fire
The discovery of wheel
The advent of metal usage
Marked the way for
Civilization
And we have been
Civilizing ourselves
Since then
Our ways of living improved
Generations after generations
Our comfort level kept increasing
We are at such a peak
That a peak further ahead
Looks impossible
But we are yet to be
Civilized in the real sense
As we have no regard
For the resources we use up
And consume so much
That many of us run short
And we have no clue as to
Whether our future generations
Will have at least a taste of
What all we have consumed
And we say we are developing
Each second
We are termed more and more developed
The more we devour the resources
Minding not whether something left
For others, leave alone for generations ahead

God said
Be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth
He, probably, meant
Stay in comfort
Generate fruits, grains, vegetables and other edibles
Eat well
Ensure the continuity of the human race
By multiplying in number
And make sure
To replenish the earth
For its continued and uninterrupted support

We are fruitful
We grow grains
Develop farms
We are multiplying ourselves
Some of us in dangerous proportions
But
Are we replenishing the earth
No way
We are not sending back anything to the earth
With which she can support living blocks
What we send back to the earth
All rubbish
And some of them
Even remain a challenge
For the earth to digest and assimilate
Some of them are threatening
Life support systems
Which, the earth developed
Over millions of years

Let us examine the way we live
Let us check the wastes we generate
Let us demonstrate
We are civilized in the real sense
With a farsightedness that will
Help future generations
Enjoy living the same way we do.
If not better

Doing the right thing.....

Sometimes it means giving in
When you know that nothing else matter

Sometimes it means needing to be quiet
When words can no longer deliver the message

Sometimes it means going separate ways
When things have gotten unbearable and hopeless

Sometimes it means turning away
When your presence will do more harm than good

Sometimes it means giving up your dreams
When you no longer have time to dream

Sometimes it means stop hoping
When there's nothing else to hope for

Sometimes it means giving up your reasons
When you know that they just don't fit

Sometimes it means masking your true feelings
When you know that you have to put up a face

Sometimes it means keeping the love within your heart
When you know that it can only bring pain.

Untitled 3

Life, friends, is boring. We must not say so.
After all, the sky flashes, the great sea yearns,
we ourselves flash and yearn,
and moreover, my mother told me as a boy
'Ever to confess you're bored
means you have no

Inner Resources.'

I conclude now I have no
inner resources, because I am heavy bored.
Peoples bore me,
literature bores me, especially great literature,
Sandro bores me, with his plights & gripes
as bad as Achilles,

who loves people and valiant art, which bores me.
And the tranquil hills, & gin, look like a drag
and somehow a dog
has taken itself & its tail considerably away
into the mountains or sea or sky, leaving
behind: me, wag.

A Freedom By Poetry!

Poetic freedom is the real freedom for human race;
The freedom they enjoy nobody enjoys in the world!
Free birds are the poets leading the world to freedom;
Nothing can stop the poetic spirit of human beings here!

Human life is incomplete without poetry in the world;
Poetry expresses the dreams, visions and imagination
Not only of the poets but also of the whole of mankind!
Poetry is also the criticism of human life in the world.

Poetry talks about the past, present and future for all;
Tells about love, life, Nature and beauty, a full knowledge!
Otherwise not anyone can gain that by any way in the world
And the place of poetry nothing can capture or replace ever!

Humankind is inspired by poetry for freedom to achieve freedom
And education for freedom can be imparted only by poetry ever!

Strength From God

As more darkness looms ahead, I will look to my Savior instead,
For God’s strength, one more time, in this trial, not of my design,
And as God’s done before, strength He’ll supply and much more,
As God leads me through the night, in His strength and His might.

My own endurance through this trial, will not last, there’s no denial,
God’s resources, I can’t deplete, so in God, my strength’s replete.
With His strength He gives peace, that, from God, shall not cease,
As He’s helped me in past days, He’ll strengthen me to His praise.

Though weak and frail, I may be, that strength that God grants me,
Helps me through minute to hour, not through mine but His power,
Divine power, He extends by grace, for each and every trial I face,
Through the strength of The Lord, I know my ways will be restored.

Through my own strength I would fall, but, He is Lord God over all,
Over all the ways, within my life, as I follow The Lord, Jesus Christ,
Who guides me each and every day, lighting even the darkest way,
By God, dark days are not ignored, for I’m led by Christ, my Lord,

When I am weak, He is strong, so following God, I can’t go wrong;
Grace God sends by His design, into my life, at just the right time,
So never is it too early or too late, as for God’s grace I never wait,
For He Who cares so much for me, is The Lord God, over Eternity.
