Beauty of A Woman

The beauty of a woman
is not in the clothes she wears,
the figure she carries,
or the way she combs her hair;

and...

The beauty of a woman
is not in a facial mole, but...
true beauty of a woman
is reflected in her soul.
The care that she gives, and...
the passion she shows; would be the...
beauty of a woman's character that grows.

Phenomenal Woman: A Lady with love.
Phenomenal Woman: An Angel above.
Phenomenal Woman: An Image of God.
Respectful, kind, and not of a facade.

A Poet with love; her age just a number,
this Woman of God would NEVER slumber.

The Rose

the rose is a beauty to behold
it is loved by most women on this earth
is it because the rose is like a woman?
when it opens up and spreads its petals
it shows the beauty within and the softness to the touch.
yet just like a woman it has its thorns to protect its beauty.
so is the woman who has been betrayed-she will never be the same
she will protect the beauty like a spider protects its web.

so this is what i see.

the beauty of a woman which is locked up inside
will bloom like a rose with nothing to hide.
her beauty will be admired by men of all nations
they'll try to get to her to feel the sensation.
the sensation of knowing she is the one
who could raise the setting sun.
so as men we have to take care
for once we get into their hair
they'll be no way of turning back
until she combs her hair and loosens up the slack.
she will have us like a spider has its web
and suck us dry until we're dead.
but! what a wonderful death it will be
as long as we live in harmony.

Stupid Girl

I'm not talking about the kind of clothes she wears
Look at that stupid girl
I'm not talking about the way she combs her hair
Look at that stupid girl

The way she powders her nose
Her vanity shows and it shows
She's the worst thing in this world
Well

Where Beauty Lies

Not the curve of the hips
Or the shape of the lips
Nor the clothes she wears
Or the color of her hair
Not in the numbers on the scale
But in the person who always seems to care

The beauty of a person
No matter who they are
Can only be measured
From the warmness of the heart
Not the face she wears
Or the voice she shares
But the expressions she makes
And the words that she creates
It's in the smile she puts on
even when everything has gone wrong

Beauty lies within the fire inside
That refuses to let her run and hide
Beauty shines from inside her
Throughout everything she does
Beauty comea from the way she stands strong for what she beleives
And can never be forced
To surrender to her knees

Beauty,
Is when she stands tall
Even when she has lost it all
Her hopes never shatter and fall

Beauty is when
Her soul is so bright
It shines through
In the darkest of nights
She leads the way
With no sighs of dismay

From the legs to the hips
From the eyes to the lips
It all does'nt matter
This is the beauty
that i wish to capture

Sexy Baby

Ooh sexy baby
Here she comes prancing past me
Everyone stops and stares at her figure, what she wears.
Wonder what makes her so sure
Confident in life and love
I wanna be her
Always here to look for her every afternoon
Making mental notes, watching her style checking her out
In my mind I see a picture she is being me
A sexy lady's what I want to be
Things that I do
I practice my walk like you
Flutter my eyes and rehearse sexy lips
I'm gonna make a wish, imagine my first kiss
I'll be the way I see you every day
Sexy baby
Here she comes prancing past me
Everyone stops and stares at her figure, what she wears.
Wonder what makes her so sure
Confident in life and love
I wanna be her
Always try new clothes the same as what she has on
Then I change my hair, I want the same style that she wears
Want the guys to see the women deep inside of me
A sexy lady's what I want to be
Things that I do
I practice my laugh like you
I gloss my lips and gently sway my hips
I'm gonna make a wish, imagine my first kiss
I'll be the way I see you every day
Sexy baby
Here she comes prancing past me
Everyone stops and stares at her figure, what she wears.
Wonder what makes her so sure
Confident in life and love
I wanna be her
Here she comes prancing past me
Everyone stops and stares at her figure, what she wears.
Wonder what makes her so sure
Confident in life and love
I wanna be her
Sexy baby
Here I go prancing past you
What do you do?
You stop and stare at my figure and what I wear
Wonder what makes me so sure
Confident in life and love
I am her
Sexy baby!

Hair

Wide cheeks? Let the hair hide the ears.
Broad forehead? Let the hair spills in front.
Dwarf neck? Let the hair in knot be up.
Lanky figure? Let the hair falls on shoulders.
Hair being dense is an asset to woman

Grandma

Knots and tangles in my hair,
grandma sitting on her chair,
me in front on a stool so low,
brushes and combs all in a row.

Grandma would wash it every day,
Saying 'We do this first, then you play.'
Waiting for the feel of every pull,
this became our ritual.

I anticipated every tug.
When we finished we would hug.
But before I'd leave she'd make a bow,
all different colors she'd use to show

that my hair was something she loved to see.
It was long and shiny black, like ebony.
I treasure her looks and the moments spent,
the combs, the brushes and her looks of content.

My grandma made me feel like a queen,
like the prettiest thing she'd ever seen.
Now as my hair is turning gray
I remember the words she used to say,

'Sit down dolly and I'll comb your hair.'

Love Wears

love wears,
not always pretty,
deeper than the surface

that others see...
not always right,
often makes mistakes,

know when it has fallen,
pleads for forgiveness.
carries a price

that must be paid in full,
worth every penny, every dime,
every tear, every humiliation....

love never accepts
anything less than the truth,
never asks for as much as it gives....

bruised and battered,
bloodied and dirtied....
with a raw beauty....

that only love wears!

When Mother Combed My Hair

When Memory, with gentle hand,
Has led me to that foreign land
Of childhood days, I long to be
Again the boy on bended knee,
With head a-bow, and drowsy smile
Hid in a mother's lap the while,
With tender touch and kindly care,
She bends above and combs my hair.

Ere threats of Time, or ghosts of cares
Had paled it to the hue it wears,
Its tangled threads of amber light
Fell o'er a forehead, fair and white,
That only knew the light caress
Of loving hands, or sudden press
Of kisses that were sifted there
The times when mother combed my hair.

But its last gleams of gold have slipped
Away; and Sorrow's manuscript
Is fashioned of the snowy brow--
So lined and underscored now
That you, to see it, scarce would guess
It e'er had felt the fond caress
Of loving lips, or known the care
Of those dear hands that combed my hair.

. . . . . . . .

I am so tired! Let me be
A moment at my mother's knee;
One moment--that I may forget
The trials waiting for me yet:
One moment free from every pain--
O! Mother! Comb my hair again!
And I will, oh, so humbly bow,
For I've a wife that combs it now.

Women Washing Their Hair

They have painted and sung
the women washing their hair,
and the plaits and strands in the sun,
and the golden combs
and the combs of elephant tusks
and the combs of buffalo horn and hoof.

The sun has been good to women,
drying their heads of hair
as they stooped and shook their shoulders
and framed their faces with copper
and framed their eyes with dusk or chestnut.

The rain has been good to women.
If the rain should forget,
if the rain left off for a year—
the heads of women would wither,
the copper, the dusk and chestnuts, go.

They have painted and sung
the women washing their hair—
reckon the sun and rain in, too.

Beauty of a Woman

The beauty of a woman lies in her silence
Rather than her speech
The beauty of a woman lies in her patience
Rather than her inquisitiveness outreach
The beauty of a woman lies in her experience
Rather than her age
The beauty of a woman lies in her veil for awhile
Rather than her face
The beauty of a woman lies in her submission
Rather that her dominance
The beauty of a woman lies in her smile
Rather than her laughter
The beauty of a woman lies in her abode
Rather than her adventure
The beauty of a woman lies in her offspring
Rather than herself ever
The beauty of a woman lies in her heart's spring
Rather than in skin cover

The Other Woman

Jesse Mae Robinson
The other woman finds time to manicure her nails
The other woman is perfect where her rival fails
And she's never seen with pin curls in her hair
The other woman enchantes her clothes with French perfume
The other woman keeps fresh cut flowers in each room
There are never toys that's scattered everywhere
And when her baby comes to call
He'll find her waiting like a lonesome queen
Cos when she's by his side
It's such a change from old routine
But the other woman will always cry herself to sleep
The other woman will never have his love to keep
And as the years go by the other woman
Will spend her life alone

Woman Means Beauty

To say that she is a beauty is not correct
In a sense, woman herself is a beauty.
Gradations take place with in that.
The woman’s beauty transcends colour and creed.
She is the truth, the essence, the genius,
The exuberances and the bliss
And what not, to a man’s eyes?
But she is man’s pawn.
Her fashion is in man’s power designs.
In some places, her feet were made shrunk.
In some periods, her hair was slashed,
Sometimes curls, sometimes short or close cut.
Fabrics in reduction and then in
Abundance and to be cyclic.
A beautiful woman is a distorted woman.

The Beauty Within

A beauty that comes from within
is a beauty that age cannot wrinkle
Not distracted by a simple pimple
But a radiant face of joy and pleasure
A woman of inner beauty
Is a life full of love and bounty
Her sweet smile will never fade away
For the Lord is her security
She longs for a pure heart
And wears a cheerful countenance
She does not need a color to overhaul
For her beauty is within after all

Apparent and latent

When you are struck with a woman’s apparent beauty
You lose interest in it if not coped with her latent beauty.
If you are moved by a woman’s latent beauty
You are not tired; her apparent beauty matches or not.

And not for the hair.
