If the tenth of the population that is gay became visible tomorrow, the panic of the majority of people would inspire repressive legislation of a sort that would shock even the pessimists among us.

What is more comforting to the terrorists around the world: the failure to pass the 9/11 legislation because we lacked 'a majority of the majority,' or putting aside partisan politics to enact tough new legislation with America's security foremost in mind?

The Majesty of the majority
The arrogance of the majority
Kills the freedom of the minority.
The authority of the majority
Checks the progress of the minority.
The humility of the majority
Tends the growth of the minority
The majesty of the majority
Grants the safety of the minority
Let the Babaar majid be rebuilt.
[The majid was an unused mosque built centuries ago in the place of a Hindu temple, and was destructed by the Hindu faith people giving a shock to the country’s secularism]

Pessimists are the people who have no hope for themselves or for others. Pessimists are also people who think the human race is beneath their notice, that they're better than other human beings.

It is proof of a base and low mind for one to wish to think with the masses or majority, merely because the majority is the majority. Truth does not change because it is, or is not, believed by a majority of the people.

I'm Dead (But I Don't Know It Yet)
All these baby-boomer musicians are out there, and no one's leaving the stage. We're able to stick around because there's this big bulge of 52-year-olds in the population. People are still sort of interested in Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan and me. But it's only because there's so many of us. Until we start to die off, there's going to be this giant cloud hanging over the rest of the population. Newsweek will start running articles like,

The Tenth
the tenth is always my ending
the tenth of a day
and the tenth of what i am
the rest shall not be yours
for the universe owns it
the rest scatters itself
a no man's land
a place for all air and dusts
a place for all the shining stars
there is light, and space and
eternity
like the longings of the heart
like the droplets
of memories
the tenth as gift
and nothing more.

The very purpose of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution is to protect minority rights against majority voters. Every court decision that strikes down discriminatory legislation, including past Supreme Court decisions, affirming the fundamental rights to marry the person you love, overrules a majority decision.

Tomorrow People
Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, how long will you last?
Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, how long will you last?
Today you say you deyah
Tomorrow you say you're gone
But you're gone so long
If there is no love in your heart - so sorry
Then there is no hope for you - true, true
Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, how long will you last?
Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, how long will you last?
So you're in the air
But you still don't have a thing to spare
You're flying high
While we're on the low o-o-oh
Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, how long will you last? Tell me now
Tomorrow people, where is your past? No where
Tomorrow people, how long will you last? Ten years!
Stop tellin' me the same story
Today you say you deyah
Tomorrow you say you're gone and you're not coming back
If there is no love in your heart oh now
There will never be hope for you
Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, how long will you last? Ten years!
Tomorrow people, where is your past?
Tomorrow people, tomorrow people, come on
Tomorrow people, tomorrow people, come on
Tomorrow people, tomorrow people, no soon come
Tomorrow people, tomorrow people, soon come
Tomorrow people, tomorrow people, today is here
If you don't know your past, you don't know your future
Everyone
Don't know your past, don't know your future everyman
Don't know your past, don't know your future, come on
Don't know your past, don't know your future
How many nations
How many people did that one catch
How many

People Panic
Tripped out,
Over their finances.
Doubts begin to cloud their minds...
With a suggestion to breathe deeply.
To prevent a panic to exist.
And if they don't breathe deeply,
That's exactly what they'll find!
That's exactly what they'll get...
Panic!
But do people listen?
No!
Is common sense from them missing?
Well...
I don't want to pass,
That as harrassment.
But if I'm allowed,
I would choose to brag.
I don't want to pass,
That as harrassment.
But people seem to get,
Just what they ask!
And everywhere you go,
You'll see them in their stubbornness to give!
In 'fits' like spoiled little kids.
And everywhere you go,
You'll see them in their stubbornness to give!
In 'fits' like spoiled little kids.
But do people listen?
No!
Is common sense from them missing?
Well...
I don't want to pass,
That as harrassment.
But if I'm allowed,
I would choose to brag.
Tripped out,
Over their finances.
Doubts begin to cloud their minds...
With a suggestion to breathe deeply.
To prevent a panic to exist.
And if they don't breathe deeply,
That's exactly what they'll find!
That's exactly what they'll get...
Panic!
People quick to throw a fit and...
Panic.
One's finances will do it!
Cause a panic.
A lack of money will do it....
Cause a panic.
There is no benefit in it,
But people panic.
People quick to throw a fit and...
Panic.
One's finances will do it!
Cause a panic.
A lack of money will do it....
Cause a panic.
There is no benefit in it,
But people panic.
People quick to throw a fit and...
Panic.
One's finances will do it!
Cause a panic.
A lack of money will do it....
Cause a panic.
There is no benefit in it,
But people panic.
People sick of taking risks,
And so they panic!
People sick of taking risks,
And so they panic!
People sick of taking risks,
And so they panic!
People panic

Poverty
Growing day by day even than everybody insult me,
but i never insult anyone this is in my nature.
Biggest irony with me that everyone keep distance
from myself but majority of people fail to keep distance
even philosophical people try to attach me with those
who really hate me and success is there motto in life.
Certain people try to show kindness in different way
toward me, but i need solid action instead of kindness.
I am root of majority of evil exists in this world.
Some intelligent people try to define in line
there effort did not yield any positive result.
only selected people win over me.
Why majority of people fail to... win over me?
I am your own.......poverty.

The difficulty with the present state of affairs is that there is no legislation on the sources of funding for the Polish film industry. There is no legislation concerning filmmaking. And, there is no legislation on television that would be beneficial to filmmaking.

In the final analysis, the whole cause of world revolution hinges on the revolutionary struggles of the Asian, African and Latin American people who make up the overwhelming majority of the world's population.
Education does have a great role to play in this period of transition. But it is not either education or legislation; it is both education and legislation. It may be true that morality cannot be legislated, but behavior can be regulated. It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that’s pretty important also. It may be true that the law cannot change the heart, but it can restrain the heartless, and this is what we often do and we have to do in society through legislation. We must depend on religion and education to change bad internal attitudes, but we need legislation to control the external effects of those bad internal attitudes. And so there is a need for meaningful civil right legislation.

The Most Visible Mask
you have loved the most visible mask i have
my face
everyday, this face, tomorrow this face, yesterday
this face
you are proud of my nose, and you tell all your friends about
it
aquiline, conquest of a nose, occupying almost all parts
of your territory
not even the hands but this face
the mouth that eats you
the eyes that close when
i kiss you
the tongue that maps out
what has to be found when lost
this face, the most visible mask
inside
is the real face, the face of my mind
it is thinking something else
all these years
the invisible mask is silent
tomorrow shall be the scorn
you must bear it,
you are fond of the most visible
though not really enduring.

Chasing Pessimists Away
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
Those who look for troubles got them carried in a bag,
'Cause...
They would rather carry all their troubles that they've had.
Carrying their troubles seeking more of them to nab.
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
Being optimistic is a feeling that could last.
Those who look for troubles got them carried in a bag,
'Cause...
They would rather carry all their troubles that they've had.
And carrying their troubles seeking more of them to nab.
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
Being optimistic is a feeling that could last.
And being optimistic makes those pessimists mad.
And chasing pessimists away should make somebody glad.
Pessimists would say that optimism is a gag,
But...
Being optimistic is a good thing to have.
And being optimistic is much better than the bad.
Being optimistic makes a better day had.
Being optimistic makes a better day had.

The basic policy of the British Government was that since the majority of people in Northern Ireland wished to remain in the United Kingdom, that was that. We asked what would happen if the majority wanted something else, if the majority wanted to see Irish unity.
Humans are not harmonious.
Human beings couldn't be harmonious.
Ninety percent of the population
Has good intent and is disorganized
And ten percent of the population
Has its own intent and is organized.
The minority steers the majority.
No revolt could bring any change.
Human beings can't be harmonious.
