Musical training is a more potent instrument than any other, because rhythm and harmony find their way into the inward places of the soul, on which they mightily fasten imparting grace.

Midnight
It's midnight, the house silent,
in the distance a musical instrument
being played softly. I am alone.
It's as if the world has come to an end

Jones The Rhythm
Rhythm is both the songs manical and its demoinc charge.
It is the original breath , it is the whisper of unremitting demand.
What do you still want to be said of the singer?
What do you think you can still draw from my lips?
Exact presence that no fantasy can represent.
Purveyor of the old secret, alive with the blood that boils again,
And is pulsing where the rhythm is torn apart.
How your singers blood is incensed at the depth of sound.
Lacerations echo in the mouths open erotic sky where dance together,
The lost trenches of rythm and an imploring immobility...
Ladies and gentlemen...miss grace jones...jones the rhythm.
Slave!!
Slave to the rhythm, dance to the rhythm,
Axe to wood in ancient times, man machine production line,
The fire burns, with heart beats strong,
Sing out loud, the chaing gang song.
Never stop the action, keep it up, keep it up,
Never stop the action, keep it up, keep it up.
Slave to the rhythm, dance to the rhythm,
The rhythm...master...master.
Never stop the action, keep it up,
Never stop the action, keep it up, keep it up.
Slave to the rhythm, work to the rhythm,
Dance to the rhythm, live to the rhythm.
Slave to the rhythm,
Dance to the rhythm, live to the rhythm,
Slave to the rhythm, work...to the rhythm,
To the rhythm, work to the rhythm, to the rhythm.
Slave, slave,
To the rhythm, to the rhythm, to the rhythm.

Harmony (From" Harmony")
Harmony
Unforgettable harmony
Harmony
First there was harmony
And there was rhyme
This was our time
Harmony
Did we have harmony
And that's just about all we had!
Suddenly
A little harmony
And the poverty's not so bad
Thin, we were
Poor as sin in berlin, we were!
Patches on our pants
Mercif'lly, when you're in harmony
You're in a trance
Others went marching
Not us, we'd dance
No one in grodnogubernia
Ever learned to dance like this!
Spoken:
(Believe it or not I was a rabbi before all this started!
In grodnogubernia yet!)
If you're in grodnogubernia
Tell em', this you shouldn't miss!
Harmony
All arm in arm were we
Well, except when the punches flew
Squabbles, sure
But squabbles don't endure
When there's harmony in the brew
Then did we
Oh, so splendidly blend, did we
Like a spell had come
It was clear
My pals and I could hear
A different drum
Outside they hollered!
But we hadharmony!
In this joint
All encounters with counterpoint
End in harmony
And it's clear
No man's a solo here
Not even me
No solo mio!
No we've got harmony!
When we've got harmony
Then just maybe we've got a chance
Harmony, the best is harmony!
And the rest is a song and dance!
Where you find
You're in harmony
There you find
Shelter in a storm
Every note
A button on the coat
That keeps you warm
Stars have the heavens
But we've got harmony!
Harmony!
Harmony!
Harmony!
Troubles disappear
And what you feel is what you hear
Not what you see!
Yes, first there was
Harmony!

My Seach For Beauty Begins Here...
I live in a concrete jungle but i do not crib
My search for beauty begins here
I find symmetry in the neatly twined wires
laid ready to take on the concrete
I find perfect synchronised harmony
in the working of the road layers
who can do their 'do' in a jiffy
I find empathy in the action of the worker
who places a plank over a pit
enabling us to cross
I find god's grace in the babies
that survive in the rubble
its here we live and i choose to love it!

The Rhythm Ranch
Johnny colla/huey lewis
Cause and effect music/huey lewis music. all rights administered by hulex music, ascap
We know a place with a real big beat
A destination soul retreat
A musical cure for your day-to-day stress
Its a dream vacation way out west
Yeah, its a soulful scene if you know what I mean
Come on down, take a chance
Get you a room at the rhythm ranch
Ride your pony, lets dance
Uh-huh, baby, thats the rhythm ranch
They got killer music everywhere
To help you deal with the pain out there
I think youll see that its money well spent
More than a hundred grooves for rent
And they got all the blues and views you can use
Come on down, take a chance
Get you a room at the rhythm ranch
Ride your pony, lets dance
Uh-huh, baby, thats the rhythm ranch
Chicken dumplings and big bands
Tuning it up at the rhythm ranch
Saxophones and romance
Uh-huh, baby, thats the rhythm ranch
The funkiest place you have ever seen
And you wont find it in a magazine
They got four-star service in 4/4 time
And sweet soul music to ease your mind
Yeah, its a real good deal with tons of feel

Soul Dance
I will dance with you
It will be the dance of my soul
I will be open and honest
Show you my inner being
I will trust you
Take you to places in my soul that have been broken and restored
Places that cause pain and healing
Places that have hated and loved
Places I have forgotten and remembered
Places I have not visited in a long time and places I go every day
I will dance with you the dance of my soul
And feel your soul dance with mine to those same places in yours

Rhythm Of Love
Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:klaus meine
Lets spend the night together
I know you want it too
The magic of the moment
Is what Ive got for you
The heartbeat of this night
Is made to lose control
And there is something in your eyes
Thats longing for some more
Let us find together
The beat were looking for
The rhythm of love
Keeps me dancing on the road
The rhythm of love
Got the groove that hits the bone
The rhythm of love
Is the game Im looking for
The rhythm of love
Is the heartbeat of my soul
Lets reach the top together
One night will never do
An exploding shot of pleasure
Is what Ive got for you
Why dont you close your eyes
And let your feeling grow
I make you feel the taste of life
Until your love will flow
Let us find together
The beat were longing for
The rhythm of love
Keeps me dancing on the road
The rhythm of love
Got the groove that hits the bone
The ryhthm of love
Is the game Im looking for
The rhythm of love
Is the heartbeat of my soul
Let us find together
The beat were looking for

Flute - a triolet
Hollow and holes of bamboo played with air.
Most natural, magical, musical instrument.
Makes melodious the complete atmosphere
Hollow and holes of bamboo played with air.
In hands of Lord Krishna, Hindus wish to be flute.
In tranquillity, ears sense celestial experience.
Hollow and holes of bamboo played with air;
Most natural, magical, musical instrument.

The Rhythm Of The Heat
Looking out the window
I see the red dust clear
High up on the red rock
Stands the shadow with the spear
The land here is strong
Strong beneath my feet
It feeds on the blood
It feeds on the heat
The rhythm is below me
The rhythm of the heat
The rhythm is around me
The rhythm has control
The rhythm is inside me
The rhythm has my soul
The rhythm of the heat
The rhythm of the heat
The rhythm of the heat
The rhythm of the heat
Drawn across the plainland
To the place that is higher
Drawn into the circle
That dances round the fire
We spit into out hands
And breathe across the palms
Raising them up high
Help open to the sun
Self-conscious, uncertain
Im showered with the dust
The spirit enter into me
And I submit to trust
Smash the radio
No outside voices here
Smash the watch
Cannot tear the day to shreds
Smash the camera
Cannot steal away the spirits
The rhythm is around me
The rhythm has control
The rhythm is inside me
The rhythm has my soul

The Flutist
Oh sweet beautiful flutist
Play for me the beautiful melodies of your hearts desire
How softly do the graceful notes come from the instrument of your musical prowess
The sweet melodies that pour from your instrument of the heavens
Oh how they soothe my soul
Oh how they take away my past
Those beautiful sweet melodies from heaven
Oh sweet beautiful flutist
Let me play for you to sweet melodies
For I am not worthy to hear your melodies
The melodies from heaven

No way, you can fight it every day

A Poem Does Not Have to Rhyme
There are those who think in order for a poem to have rhythm it must rhyme, but a poem does not have to rhyme to have rhythm.
The rhythm comes for the poet’s soul not the rhyming of words.
The rhythm is in emotions that the poet’s poem evokes.
From a soulful cry to feeling of love and from the passion of hate to the awakening of understanding this is the beat, the rhythm of a poem. Now don’t get me wrong if a poem rhyme and has soul it is cool too, but I just wanted everyone to know that a poem does not have to rhyme.
I like to work my camera as if it were a musical instrument.
