Times of trouble come and go.
Some who are troubled
don't even know.
They've had no times
when life was sweet
except for the times when they could eat
scraps of food
disgarded by those
who look at them
and turn up their nose.

My baby left me, my mule got lame,
Lost all my money in a poker game.
