Shalom Salaam

Lost am I in my memories of my forefathers' legacy
I am one of you you are one of me
why don't we set the people free
how I grieve to see fulfillment of prophecy
naive of me to think things could change
while man remain the same so war will be for me everyday
no peace no peace for the children of Israel
Gaza cries all the tears from her eyes
will there be no peace for the children of Palestine
shalom salaam shalom salaam
who will take the blame for the blood of my children
to who does vengeance belong to no one no one
we're dying from tanks and suicide bombs
the only answer is to live as one
and justice will come for my sons and just will come for my sons
shalom salaam shalom salaam
and I wonder why and I wonder who and I wonder what
is in the heart of you
and I wonder why and I wonder who and I wonder what
is in the heart of you
children are children no matter color or faith
and I wonder if history will teach us again
so war will be for me everyday
no peace no peace for the children of Israel
Gaza cries all the tears from her eyes
will there be no peace for the children of Palestine
and justice will come for my sons
shalom salaam shalom salaam

Your ashes in wind death blown skull
Sing storms of justice and breeze of peace
In wells you hid your black milk of dawns
In spells of sky they burnt your fingers

Sought evil necklace around his neck
Too heavy for the soul to fly
Stone cut pearls of you ashen voice

It Is Wonderful That There Are So Many Small Children In Israel

IT IS WONDERFUL THAT THERE ARE SO MANY SMALL CHILDREN IN ISRAEL

It is wonderful that there are so many small children in Israel
I see them everywhere and am happy when I see them.
Do they make up or compensate in some way for the million and one half Jewish children murdered a generation or two ago?
Nothing makes up for even one life lost
That we know.

But still seeing these children one invariably thinks of those other Jewish children-
I don't understand it at all-

It is wonderful that there are so many small children in Israel
Children are a great blessing and the hope of their parents and grandparents lives-

God Bless and protect these children
And let them never know the hatred the suffering the cruelty
Children no less innocent than them knew
A generation or two ago.

Letter To Eve

Oh eve
Where is adam
I see
(oh eve)
Youve been kicked
(youve been kicked)
Out of the garden
(out of the garden)
And I said
Oh eve
(oh eve)
Where is adam
(where is adam)
Now youve been kicked
(now youre kicked out of the garden)
Out of the garden
(Ive been wandering from shore to shore)
Now Ive been wandering from shore to shore
(now I have found)
Now adam dont you find
(there is no more)
Now there is no more
(pacem in terris)
Pacem in terris
(mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa)
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
(dont you wish)
Dont you wish
(love)
Love alone
(dont you wish)
Dont you wish
(um love)
Love
(that love alone)
Dont you wish
(could save the world)
Love alone
(from disaster)
Dont you wish
Love
(dont you wish)
Dont you wish
Love alone
(alone alone)
Could save the world from disaster
(could save the world from disaster)
If only love
Could end the confusion
(end the confusion)
Or is it just one more illusion
And is it pacem in terris
(or is it just)
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
(one more illusion)
Well if you want to have great love
Youve got to have great anger
Well if you want to have great love
Youve got to have great anger
When I see innocent folks shot down
Should I just shake my head and frown
Oh, oh pacem in terris
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
Well if you want to hit the target square
(well if you want to hit the target square)
You better not have
(you better not have)
Better not have thine anger
(thine anger)
Or else itll be just one more time
(well if you want to hit the target square)
Where the correction creates another crime
(you better)
Well if you want to hit the target square
(oh oh pacem in terris)
You better not have thine anger
(mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa)
Or else it will be just one more time
The correction creates another crime
(oh eve)
(go tell adam)
(next time he asks you you say)
Oh eve
(baby its cold outside)
You tell adam
(oh eve)
Next time he asks you you say
(you tell adam)
Baby its cold outside
(next time he asks you you say)
Whats the password to come inside
(baby its cold outside)
You say oh oh pacem in terris
(whats the password to come inside)
Pacem in terris
(whats the password to come inside)
(you say oh oh pacem in terris)
(mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa)
(hey wa)
(hey wa)
Oh eve
Go tell adam
Weve got to build a new garden
Oh eve
Go tell adam
Weve got to build a new garden
Weve got to get working on a building
A decent home for all of gods children
Oh, oh pacem in terris
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
Well if music could only bring peace
Well Id only be a musician
Yeah if music could only bring peace
Id only be a musician
Yeah if songs could do more than dull this pain
And oh melodys break these chains well
Yeah yeah pacem in terris
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
Oh, oh pacem in terris
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
Oh, oh pacem in terris
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
Four thousand languages in this world
Well it means the same thing to every boy and girl
Oh, oh pacem in terris
Mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa
(love alone)
(could save the world from disaster)
(now if only love could end the confusion)
(well I said you)
(is it one more illusion now)
(oh, oh pacem in terris)
(mir, shanti, salaam, hey wa)

What children know (understand)

Children know laughter
They know tears
Children know peace
They know chaos
Children know acceptance
They know rejection
Children know joy
They know pain
Children know abundance
They know lack
Children know health
They know illness
Children know fulfillment
They know emptiness
Children know hope
They know dismay
Children know love
They know hatred
What they don’t know is WHY!

And the children died

And the children died.
Our children kept dying.
Then our childrens child
picked up the struggle,
and they died.

Whether in Belfast, palestine, chile,
or Iraq. They, our children died.
When moneyed powered barons
enjoin to force their farce of alien
thoughts upon a righteous people
our children die.

They, our children continued to fight
and to die.Their bodies piled up.
Sorrow became our life, the blood from
their wounds glistens always in our eyes,
and they our children fight.

Whilst we listen to politicans imploring
us to accept their just peace.
And the children died...
WHY

Chaotic Explosions

World at war
Families falling apart
Everything is at a stand still
Not one heart is beating
Well that's what we would like to think
Tryant wanting your sons and daughters for no cause
News flash over one million people are killed each year, but he doesn't care it's his job
Children forced into foster care
Cause mommy and daddy aren't there
They're too busy gettin high
While their children are dying or starvation
This world is a chaotic explosion
Everyday children are being beaten by their own father, but not one expects it cause he's a cop
Drunk off his ass thinking it's going to solve hos problems
This world is corrupted
Feeding off hate and anger
Peace is never going to come
No matter how much people want it
The only peace you're going to have is in your mind
Can't sleep everything is going through your head
Can anyone give me an answer,
Or am i going to have to look for it

Remembering The Children

Let the children sing,
Let the children dance,
Let the children play,
In a safe and joyful way.
And teach them how to pray.

Let the children walk,
Let the children talk,
To friends, relatives, parents.
Show them all nature's wealth
Let them relate to its health.

Let the children work
At chores selected to fulfill
Full use of energies and will
To compete, to give and enact
The meaning of commitment.

Let the children read
Everything within their reach,
All the things that teach,
And when there's peace within
There'll be peace without.

When The Murderers Return To Gaza

WHEN THE MURDERERS RETURN TO GAZA

When the murderers return to Gaza
There will be dancing in the streets
Guns will be fired in the air
Sweets dispersed to clamoring children
Triumphal speeches of boasting and hate
High- stepping clowns in military uniforms
A crowd screaming in happiness cries for more blood-

But back in Israel where the victims’ families are
There will be only more quiet pain
More disturbance at the betrayal and broken promises-
Their loved ones’ murderers set free
By politicians who said they never would-

Justice will not have been done
Fairness and Truth too will have been murdered-

One tortured and broken Israeli soldier will come home-
And hundreds of Palestinians well- fed and healthy
With blood on their hands
And more blood in their hearts
Will be free to try to murder again.

Protect Our Children

We want Peace
For our children in the Middle East
From Israel to Lebanon
From Congo to Gabon
From the West to the East
We want Peace
Not stupid wars
Not obnoxious outlaws
Big guns can only kill
Big tanks can only distill
Pain, misery and death
We want Peace on Earth
We want Peace everywhere
We abhor injustice and terror
We want Peace in the North
We want Peace in the South
Our innocent children are being killed
Our fellow human beings are being killed
It is a big deal, it a sick and sad thing
We don’t want to hear bang, bang
We want to hear people laugh
Not cry, not suffer and swimming in a blood bath
We want friends to be happy and elated
Not being tortured and executed
We want Peace
For our children in the Middle East
We want Peace in the North
We want Peace in the South
There is one God, there is one Love
Let’s protect our children and each other
There is one God, there is one Love
Let’s pray for Peace and let's love each other
We want Peace and Love for every one
From Israel to Lebanon
We want absolute Protection for children
We want Hope for our fellow men and women.

I Lost The Calm Of My Poem and The Peace Of My Soul

I lost the calm of my poem and the peace of my soul
When I heard murderers would go free
And those who had deliberately killed women and children
Would torment yet again their victims’ families-
I lost the calm and the peace of my soul
When I learned that we had forsaken our principles of Justice
And given in to blackmail to ransom a single life -
I lost the calm of my poem and the peace of my soul
When I understand one can be too kind and too compassionate
And that those ‘kind to the cruel’ end up being ‘cruel to the kind’
I lost the calm of my poem and the peace of my soul
When I understood we as a people had ceased to be wise and courageous-
And given in to our own excessive sense of compassion and to the cruelty of the cruel.

Peace unto you

We enter this new era on
the wings of the new era
To usher in peace into the heart
of blessed humanity

Peace unto you my brother
Peace unto you my father
Peace unto you my sister
Peace unto you my mother

We open the new chapter
Into the history of mankind
To forget the errors of the past
We meet here determined not
to live until we have corrected
The mistakes of the past

Peace unto you
Who was my oppressor in the past
Peace unto you who was
My torturer yesterday
Peace unto you who was
A sellout to their just cause
Peace unto you who was
The one to pull the trigger
That mowed them down

Peace unto the world
We come together to live
Where there is reconciliation
with justice
We meet to make the world a just
and fair world where all God's
Children are treated with fairness
in the eyes of the law

For the people Of Palestine

In a holy land, with a strange feeling
A strange and calm feeling that comes from the heart of people
People who live pure, people who are valuable and kind
People who are great and faithful, men and women with beautiful minds

Their sky was calm a day, it was full of white pigeons
Pigeons which were the messengers of peace
A blue sky that was above a golden place
A place that was full of happy face

Green lands and greener islands with warm sunny farms
Happy people who don't think about a simple fight
Streets full of cheerful children and cars
But the time brings an unfair war

Some people think power can take everything from poor people
But it never can conquer the faith
Faith will destroy every satanic thing
It can bring bad things down, even the powerful kings

Farms destroyed under the boots of soldiers
They close their eyes and burst fire on the poor and innocent children of Palestine
Their laugh destroy that empty sky
Satanic plans those we know all are a lie! ! !

Power Vs Faith
Guns Vs Stones
Bullets Vs people
And Blood on the feeble

When a pure stone flies, a bullet tears the sky to hit for the answer
And then a heart that once was for a human stop beating
The truth is being hiding in our world
We should help the people of Palestine, not with our words! !

Where are the humans right protectors?
Where are the people who are loyal to humanities criteria?
Where are the humans to see a family that sleep with fear?
Where is a person to clean the children tears?

We have a ceiling to sleep in peace under it
We have security, we live in peace
But there…, suddenly the roof of a house will fall down
When they think they are sleeping in peace, they buried in the dawn

In the Name of Humanity, don't be silent
See the truth; see the pure bodies those just fell down
See the tears of mothers those live in stress
See the great unfair condition, see the real mess!

For the people of Palestine
People who live in a cruel situation
For the people of Palestine,
People who their rights are taken, , people with no sin!

Not here? Why?

By Ombuge Moses

You always here, there, everywhere
Everyone says so
I wish you were here
How can I bring you closer?
The people have you
But they embrace you not
Do they know you?
Yes!
They like you not!
Why?

Brothers fight
Fathers fight
Neighbors fight
Women Suffer
Children cry in pain
Peace here,
Peace there,
Peace everywhere,
Peace no where
Peace not finding
Why?

In the hustles
The bustles
The dust settle
The feet are tired
The cry is annoying
Women are killed
Children are slaughtered
My neighbor says there is no peace
Peace, where at thou?
Not here?
Why?

I touch my neighbor
I feel his warmth
I feel his heart beat
I realize he needs to live
To be with me
But the enemy is in him
He wants to kill me
He killed my daughter
My wife, she does not belong
Where are you
Peace, here I call
Everywhere!
Why?

Together we stand
The ground is peaceful
The soil keeps the life
The soil always welcome new germinates
Together we stand
Amidst we argue
Confront
Disagree
Conflict
Ster eotype
Separate
Disengage
Knowledge acquired
To hold
To find
To resolve
To accept
To bond
Everywhere, every time
As humans
Peaceful, to remain
But we are not!
Why?

Greed, lust confuse
We fight
We kill
My wife, stray bullet
The police so inhumane
They kill
To call, stray bullet
They shoot and denounce
They denounce, while shooting
What happened to humanity?
Peace be with you
Still awaits
Peace, where at thou?
Not here?
Why?
When?
How long?
What is your color?
When you come, to notice you
To hold you, to embrace you
Suffering to stop
Peace? Which direction?

I dropp my weapon
I am peaceful
He fists his weapon
He is the enemy
Is he human?
Can he feel peace?
Smell peace?
Be peaceful?
One day, some day, that future day
Peace be with you

Peace> Shalom.

Children Of Gaza

Ooo! ! ! you young infants of the stolen land
Be strong, you are the seeds of the sand
Rain of missiles showered you every day
the world watch as if it is a comic play
your playground has become a missile garden
And you had become a weed that need to be up rooten
every day of yours, some of you are called by him above
But with tears of sorrow you buried them with love

Ooo! ! ! you children of gaza
Be strong, God will answer your prayer
You have never had a memory of sweet infancies
your childhood is constantly rubbed by plague of brutalities
Your eyes are running water no more
they pumped blood from sorrows core
Ooo! ! ! children of this ruined kingdom
let no one break your spirit, they will call freedom

Ooo! ! ! you children of palestine
Be strong, your home will be a glowing vine
our hand are tied to our eyes
our ears are deaf only few of us heard your cries
But I say to you hold on
It wouldn't be long before you see the sun
It wouldn't be long before we hear your solitary strain
It wouldn't be for ever this pointless emblem of pain
Be strong children of gaza
Freedom will wipe your fear

I wish peace comes to Gaza

when i feel cold and comfort covering with my blanket
those children are cold and injured even died
when i feel comfort at my home
those children need to move and move again to avoid the bombs
when i smile and laugh here sees awesome scenery
those children looks so mash, scares on their innocent face
although they still not understand
why those happened to them in their ages
when others children could happily play in their playground
those children need to play with damaged bombs surround them
when I take a deep breath and have fresh air
those children need to feel the damage air causing by bombs and bullets
God.. please hold your hand and help them..
If men couldn’t hear no more and their heart are cold enough
You are the only one who could accept prays from all over the world
And make peace in Gaza and not make that place as never ending story
Always war and war and war…

We're All God's Children

Album: Peace In The Valley
Here comes a Baptist, here comes a Jew
There goes a Mormon and a Muslim too
I see a Buddist and a Hindu
I see a Catholic and I see you
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
You like the day, and I like the night
He's into country and he's isn't quit
There's folks on the left and the far right
But that doesn't mean that we have to fight
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
White folks, yellow folks, black and tan
On the same planet in the same plan
A feminist woman and a he man
We're all playin' the magic hand
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Oh, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all black and white
We're all precious in his sight
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we all be
One big happy family...

When Youre A Free Man

Time... quickly passes by
If only we could talk again
Someday I know Ill see you smiling
When youre a free man again
High... on a mountain side
We laughed and talked of things to come
Someway I know Ill see you shining
When were all free men again
You left your country for peace of mind
And something tells me youre doin alright
How are the children and rosemarie
I long to see you
And be in your company
Someday I know Ill see you smiling
When youre a free man again
I often wonder why
Our world has gone so far astray
Someway I know Ill see you shining
When were all free men again
You gave love freely to those with tears
Your eyes were sad then you saw the need
You know that love lasts for eternity
Lets be gods children
And live in perfect peace
Peace perfect peace
Perfect peace
Peace
Someway I know Ill see you shining
When youre a free man
When were all free men again
When youre a free man

In My Old Age/ My Happiness

IN MY OLD AGE/ MY HAPPINESS

In my old age
My happiness
Suddenly
Overwhelms me.

Why?
The light towards twilight?
The quiet?
The thought of my children
Who love and honor their father?

A peace in the cool air?
Just being here all the years
In Yerushalayim?

A quiet gratitude to God
The light and the peace and the calm?
