Christmas Memories Of Weird Al Yankovic
Hello, this is weird al yankovic.
You know, some of my favorite memories are those of christmastime. I still remember when I was a little boy, just waiting for the big day. mom would be cooking up a mess of boysenberry and tunafish burritos for our big christmas dinner, and dad would be decorating the tree with little bits of spam. and then, the big day would finally arrive. Id stay up all night and wait for santa, a-and when he finally showed up, wed all hold his hands down in the waffle maker until he promised to give us everything we wanted! ah, yeah, those were the days. well, merry christmas everybody, and, lets do lunch.

Unwritten Christmas (feat. Sum 41)
(Unwritten Law]
Remember when, I was ten,
lookin forward to Christmas again,
everything, I enjoy,
like the family Christmas tree and the toys,
and Id wake up early morning
while mom and dad still snored in bed,
so I crept, down the steps,
couldnt wait to see what Santa had left now
[Chorus]
I could not wait for Christmas day,
wait for Christmas day now
[Unwritten Law]
Don't want to wait, gettin late,
march up stairs to give my parents a shake,
get out of bed, sleepy heads,
Christmas doesn't start till you are awake,
as we gather around the tree
I open everything they gave to me,
so I stay, end up late,
why cant it be Christmas everyday now
[Chorus]
I could not wait for Christmas day,
wait for Christmas day now,
but I, but I, will have to wait for Christmas,
I will hafta wait for Christmas,
I will always wait for Christmas day
[Sum 41]
Now wake up Christmas morning, guess what I saw,
it's Unwritten Law and Sum 41 rock it raw,
with the message for kids sayin they should be nice
not naughty cuz, Santa knows karate, he's on the cross Vader,
hip hop hoorayder , got wade on the beats,
like AC Slater, if you good like Wally,
or bad like the Beev, only Santa know the score
come Christmas eve
[Chorus]submitting the lyrics.
Unwritten Law - Unwritten Christmas (
But I, but I will have to wait for Christmas,
I will have to wait for Christmas,
I will always wait for Christmas
day now yeah, I could not wait for Christmas day

Hallelujah! It's Christmas
Christmas lights out in the yard
A wreath hung our door
There was Christmas music on the radio
And I stare outside my window
Waiting for Santa to come
I couldn't wait to see under our tree when
Santa's work was done
Singing Hallelujah it's Christmas
Everybody all over the world tonight
Singing Hallelujah it's Christmas
It's Christmastime again
All year long I tried to be
As good as I could be
Just a boy with all the childhood dreams
And I sit down and write,

The moon and stars seem awful cold and bright
Lets hope the snow will make this christmas right
My friend the world will share this special night

My Only Wish
oh yeah yeah...
Last night i took a walk in the snow,
Couples holdin hands, places to go,
Seems like everyone but me is in love
Santa can you hear me?
I signed my letter that i sealed with kiss,
I sent it off, it just said this:
"i know exactly what i want this year"
Santa can you hear me?
I want my baby, baby
I want someone to love me, someone to hold,
Maybe maybe,
He'll be all my own in a big red bow
Santa can you hear me?
I have been so good this year
And all i want is one thing,
Tell me my true love is here
He's all i want, just for me
Underneath my christmas tree
I'll be waiting here
Santa that's my only wish this year
Yeahh...
Christmas eve, i just can't sleep
Would i be wrong for takin a peek
Cuz i heard that you're comin to town
Santa can you hear me?
I really hope that you're on your way
With something special for me in your sleigh
Oh please make my wish come true,
Santa can you hear me?
I want my baby, baby
I want someone to love me, someone to hold
Baby, baby, baby
We'll be all alone under the mistletoe
Santa can you hear me?
I have been so good this year,
All i want is one thing
Tell me my true love is here
He's all i want, just for me
Underneath my christmas tree
I'll be waiting here
Santa that's my only wish this year
I hope my letter reaches you in time, (oh yeah)
Bring me love i can call all mine (oh yeah)
Cuz i have been so good this year, (oh oh)
Can't be alone under the mistletoe,
He's all i want in a big red bow.
Santa can you hear me?
I have been so good this year
And all i want is one thing
Tell me my true love is near
He's all i want, just for me
Underneath my christmas tree
I'll be waiting here,
Santa that's my only wish this year
Ahh ahh ahh
Oh santa, can you hear me...?
Oh santa, well he's all i want
Just for me, underneath my christmas tree
I'll be waiting here,

Santa's On His Way
(David Anthony)
Christmas is always my favorite time of year
Sleighbells ringin', jingle lingin'
Christmas time is near
Can't wait to build a snowman
And play outside all day
Nothing could be better
I gotta write a letter
Santa's on his way
Christmas time is always
A special time of year
A time for joy and happiness
And lots of Christmas cheer
Can't wait to decorate the tree
That we brought home today
Nothin' could be better
I gotta write a letter
Santa's on his way
--- Instrumental ---
(Christmas time is always)
(A special time of year)
(A time for joy and happiness)
(And lots of Christmas cheer)
So have a very Merry Christmas
And a jolly happy day
Nothin' could be better
I gotta write a letter
Santa's on his way
Santa's on his way
Santa's on his way...

The Night Before Christmas
Ribbons and paper cover the floor
It's been a good Christmas, presents galore
Everyone's happy, I'm happy, too
Cause oh, what a night
Oh, what a night
Night before Christmas I had with you
Frost on the window, snow on the ground
Holiday spirit, holiday sounds
Everyone's thankful, I'm thankful, too
Cause oh, what a night
Oh, what a night
Night before Christmas I had with you
It all started underneath that mistletoe
While we were waiting up
To help ol' Santa Claus
We were making merry
In ways we'd never thought of
Then we heard those sleigh bells
Ol' Santa almost caught us
No we didn't take pictures
But I'll always remember
One very special twenty-fourth day of December
Cause oh, what a night
Oh, what a night
Night before Christmas I had with you
It all started underneath that mistletoe
While we were waiting up
To help ol' Santa Claus
We were making merry
In ways we'd never thought of
Then we heard those sleigh bells
Ol' Santa almost caught us
If we don't do it next year
Honey, I'm sure gonna miss it
Why don't we make it a new Yuletide tradition
Cause oh, what a night
Oh, what a night
Night before Christmas I had with you
Cause oh, what a night
Oh, what a night
Night before Christmas I had with you

A Christmas Poem
Christmas is once more with us
with mistletoe and good cheer,
stocking hung on the mantle place
and presents under the tree.
People singing Christmas carols
entertaining you and me,
as Santa with his reindeer
landing on each house in sight.
Beaming and giggly faces
of children too excited to sleep,
with Christmas day tomorrow
they cannot wait for the sight.
Slowly drifting into dreams
of what might greet their eyes bright
as they listen for Santa’s reindeers
prancing along in the snow.
As sleep descends,
they wait for the morning light,
for Christmas is that time of year
when the world seems merry and right,
and so ends my Christmas poem.
Merry Christmas to all and goodnight.

A Christmas Tree! A Christmas Tree!
A Christmas tree! A Christmas tree!
With dark green needled memories
Of childhood dreams and mysteries
Wrapped present-like in front of me.
A Christmas tree! A Christmas tree!
I glimpse a past wherein i see
The child that then grew into me
Not forward fast but haltingly.
A Christmas tree! A Christmas tree!
A time for being with family
A time that's gone so fleetingly
Yet lives for always deep in me.
A Christmas tree! A Christmas tree!
When twelfth night comes whole hauntingly
One lingered look and then i see
No Christmas tree where it would be.
A Christmas tree! A Christmas tree!
With feelings now felt longingly
No corner in my house to see
The magic of that Christmas tree.

Christmas without you
Baby you know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...
Christmas day is near
I still wish you were here
I've been walking around
all over this town
the darkness of theses nights
are scared away with Christmas lights
that remind me of when I was a little boy
and all I wanted was that special toy
now its about my family and its joy
with nights colder than Atlanta
We got milk and cookies for Santa
you can even hear the carolers sing
sounds perfect but missing one thing
And baby You know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...
we've got six inches of snow
and people kissing under the mistletoe
nights that feel so slow
and the days so long
everything's right but so wrong
kids in bed earlier than all year
waiting for Santa and his reindeer
Kids hoping this year they get all the right things
they run downstairs as soon as the alarm rings
the gifts are under the tree
but I still want you next to me
And baby You know its true
Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
I don't care about gifts or anything new
Cause Christmas just ain't Christmas without you
its just not Christmas without you...

The Christmas Poem For My Daddy
It was a cold dark night,
And i'm waiting for the snow
I know its nearly christmas
It'll be cold on my toe
I can't wait to see my presents
Stacked high beside the tree
All different shapes and sizes
All for me me ME
I love having christmas dinner
All as one big family
It's only once a year
Let's go decorate the tree
We'll put tinsel all over
And different colored ball's
All sparlky and shiny things
Can't wait till my dad call's
I really love christmas time
For the presents and the gifts
All the cold and frosty air
And the number one Christmas hit
Can't wait for the things im getting
I'll finish here and go to sleep tight
I wish you all a merry christmas
And to you all a very good night.

Merry Christmas, Baby
Written by lou baxter, johnny moore

And never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
In days of auld lang syne
Oh ooh
Merry christmas baby
You sure did treat me nice, oh ooh yeah yeah
Said uh, merry christmas baby
You sure did treat me nice, oh ooh
You gave me a diamond ring for christmas
Now i'm living in paradise, oh oh

Well i'm feeling mighty fine
Got good music, music on my radio, oh

Santa's Gonna Take It All Back
You can have that perfume that you wanted
And you can have those earrings, too
I'll even get that TV set
But there's a few things you gotta do
'Cause you've been lettin' our love come second
And sometimes even third
Now, I've had enough and if you want that stuff
Hey, Santa's done give me the word that
If you ain't a good girl by Christmas
He said he's gonna take it all back
If you ain't got it right come Christmas night
He's gonna put it back in the sack
You've got a lot of things on your list
And you better straighten up your act
'Cause if you ain't a good girl by Christmas
Hey, Santa's gonna take it all back
Got you a car back on your birthday
But that didn't get me nowhere
I did dinner and wine on valentine's
And you acted like you didn't care
Hey, it's time you loved your fellow man
That's what the season is all about
Now, I've heard it said that it ain't what you get
But baby, I'm plum give out
If you ain't a good girl by Christmas
He said he's gonna take it all back
If you ain't got it right come Christmas night
He's gonna put it back in the sack
You've got a lot of things on your list
And you better straighten up your act
'Cause if you ain't a good girl by Christmas
Hey, Santa's gonna take it all back
Now, you've got a lot of things on your list
But if you don't straighten up your act
If you ain't a good girl by Christmas
Yeah, Santa's gonna take it all back
If you ain't a good girl by Christmas
Yeah, Santa's gonna take it all back
Aw, he's gonna get it all too baby
Box it up, put it up on that big sleigh
He might throw that car up with it
Wave bye-bye, I told ya, and I told ya
Santa's the man, baby

Christmas Island
(lyle moraine)
Lets get away from sleigh bells
Lets get away from snow
Lets make or break some christmas ? dear
I know the place to go
Howd you like to spend chrismas on christmas island?
Howd you like to spend the holiday away across the sea?
Howd you like to spend christmas on christmas island?
Howd you like to hang a stocking on a great big coconut tree?
Chorus:
Howd you like to stay up late like the islanders do?
Wait for santa to sail in with your presents in a canoe
If you ever spend christmas on christmas island
You will never stray for everyday your christmas dreams come true
