(Dream Poem) Always Satisfying

Here we are again your dressed in white lace.
A fire and a little candle light as we dine under the reflection of the moonlit sky.
Our favourite song plays.
We dance, play games, and talk of childhood times.
They are friends always in our mines.
For we were one big family that slowly drifted apart.
One by one we became of the fallen.
Angel please save us.
Show us the way.
Guide the way.
With your names I make a prayer.
A lost soul is so hard to bring back.
I'm still trying to perform cpr on myself.
I feel as if I'm already dead.
A zombie gets on its legs and starts to walk.
Oh who are you?
You are not the same woman I left with.
Empty inside.
The conversation has subsided.
The new has worn off this is getting old.
This dream of mine is bringing in the cold.
So off tract and no way back.
Like a latter I'm always climbing.

AS when from dreams awaking
The dim forms float away
Whose visioned smiles were making
Our darkness bright as day;
We vainly strive, while weeping,
From their shining spirit track,
(Where they fled while we were sleeping,)
To call those dear ones back!

Like the stars, some power divides them
From a world of want and pain;
They are there, but daylight hides them,
And we look for them in vain.
For a while we dwell with sadness,
On the beauty of that dream,

Then turn, and hail with gladness
The light of morning's beam.

So, when memory's power is wringing
Our lonely hearts to tears,
Dim forms around us bringing
That brightened former years:
Fond looks and low words spoken,
Which those dreamy days could boast,

We forget that they are lost!

Every Time I Open My Eyes

Night or day
I dream of you

Dream we decided to fall in love and that you'd always stay
Sometimes it makes me want to sleep all the time
What's the point of being awake
When during my dreams is when I'm happy

I feel the depression, someone take this cup

I almost don't want to dream for fear of harsh reality
I know it's selfish of me

I'm unloved
I can't write poetry, and I can't rhyme
I have no skill, and I have no true love
EVERY SINGLE TIME MY EYES ARE OPEN!
I'm just alone even when I close my eyes to cry, the second they open tears
Come again, because I'm still alone...
It's gotten to the point where I can barely cry I've drowned in my emotion
I almost wish for death again, anything to end this loneliness
Why do I seek love so ardently when I have nothing left to give of me...
Maybe that's why when I open my eyes I may be a young boy
But I feel like
'An old man, filled with regrets, waiting to die alone.'

A Glass Of Water Please

and so the story wants to end itself with a
glass of water.

those who cry after always need
a glass of water.

those whose hearts are broken
those who sob
those who close the window of the niche
those who have nightmares
those who wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning
those who sit on bed and cannot sleep back
always go to the kitchen
open the refrigerator
get a glass and splash
a cold glass of water

this time, i am asking for a glass of water
for i could be
all of the above or you could be one of those
i have described

but who knows we are not one of those
who knows
we are but just anyone who is normally thirsty
and with nothing to ask
simply ask
for a glass of cold water.

Saturday Morning

It's Saturday morning
I'm sitting here alone again
with a cup of coffee
and my first morning joint
got the radio on low
so I can hear nature sing
outside my door
after a good morning rain
waiting for the afternoon sun
waiting for the day to shine
to shine down on everything

It's Saturday morning
and I have you on my mind
after a Friday night drink
guess some things in life
you just can't let go
it cuts you like a knife
wounds deep in you
so lets get to the point
no time left to think

You can bury your pain
but it's still there inside you
and it's here inside of me
with the weight we burden

Tell me you're doing fine
that you don't miss those days gone
when you were the one
to make me smile
tell me you were never mine

think I'll sit here awhile
I traveled but many a mile
just trying to forget
