Day Like Today

woke up this morning, jumped out of bed,
hit my head on a lampshade and the clock said
that i'm running late so i'm rushing trying to get on my way

how is it

are you crazy? you keep asking yourself too
but you are there
not to take a swim

you are there to watch when everything has gone wrong

Heres a little song to make you feel good
Put a little light in your day
These are crazy times
And its all been getting pretty serious
