The Heart of the Matter Is the Heart (Poverty)

My three bed two bath mansion, Cal's old cardboard box
The heart of the matter is the heart

My steak and lobster bisque, Cal's lunch meat sandwich stuff
The heart of the matter is the heart

My wool suits and shiny ties, Cal's best thrift store threads
The heart of the matter is the heart

My nice convertible coupe, Cal's broken and rusted bike
The heart of the matter is the heart

So many with so little, So many with so much
The heart of the matter is MY heart
