Take Your Freedom

Take your freedom
If you dare oppose the virulent ogre
In the blood spilling lair
Amidst thorns and thistles.

Take your freedom
From the lion's den
Through the fire of repression
Out of the jaws of death.

Freedom so won
From the fiery tongs of battle
In a perilous struggle
Forever remains a treasure
To be fiercely guarded.
