Should You Have a Friend

Should you have a friend,
Sacrifice yourself for him.
From time to time, a friend
Is a breezy dawn !
Earth, earthly be, free from
Birth-Re-birth;
What need remains for
Protective defence ?
Or
What need remains
To fear fate?
