Rain, cold rain

Rain, cold rain
collects and runs
Curb side- gutter
Brush leabes and cigarette butts
With bits of paper in a heap.
Bodies with faces hidden
By umbrellas
Walk into rain from rain;
Rainbow oil stained muddy
