Hedonist
I cannot breathe fresh air anymore
what with all the things cluttering
cellphones 1,2,3, laptops 1,2,3
cantankerous television sets
slew of book, papers, manuals;
made in China porcelain
carried from distant travels
gathering dusts in nooks
jostling for space.
I want to hold your hair,
admire the way you walk
but I choke and cannot breathe
fresh air anymore.
