Goodbye Sweetheart

Goodbye my darling we're parting
I know this will break your heart
Sweet Jesus just told me this morning
That tomorrow we must part My mother is dead and in heaven
My father has gone there I know
Sister has gone to meet mother
And now it's my time to go Goodbye my darling I love you
Love you with all of my heart
I'll wait for you up in heaven
The days won't be far apart Goodbye my darling I'll miss you
I'll miss you with all of my heart
I'll wait for you up in heaven
Never no more to part
Goodbye Sweetheart
