Dear St. Nicholas

Dear my jolly old St. Nicholas
lend your ear my way
I hope you're safe this Christmas
and you won't bring dismay.

As you load up your sleigh
with toys for children and adults alike
I hope that you stay warm tonight
as you bring joy to thousands alike

So be safe tonight and come back home
put up your boots and your big red coat
Take a nap from your hard days work
sincerely yours, your little grace note
