Anew
Painfully lost without you-
I am tickled pink with fancy;
Your lips are my anodyne-
As you tenderly anoint my lips-
Caressed as a summer breeze-
Your touch is as a million-
Butterfly wings fluttering against-
...My skin;
Where there is love-there is life...
And in the warming swelter-
Of your arms gentle 'shelter*'
I loose myself once and again-
In the total rapture that is we two;
Alive in my own skin-
Reawakened anew...
My psyche is buried 'neath blankets-
Of my unconditional love-
Of you...
