The Carrion Worshippers

Why parade covert
slender human form?
The body the prison
of sleeping soul.

Spirit shackled cast down
choked in dust
is bound entombed
within clay clinging cage.

Fashion locusts host
shadows stunting unnourished flame.
Sparkle gleam vibrantly fade
ghosting pre-dawn light.
