Stir Like Flashes Of Moonlight

Memories of teenage summer nights
stir like flashes of moonlight
on North Beach sea waves at night

blurred water white crested sight
rolling in upon shadowed beach
next to Tip Head skimming illusions

polished images of how we were
seen through introspective lens
ghost cries of gull and youth

mingle then now through dimensions’ change
some swam hard to catch wildfire lightning
to voice shock waves echo in new lands
