Shortfall

Is it possible
to decide differences?
Between great
works signifying lesser poets?
And inferior workings...
typifying recognized masters?

When such works
stand alone in isolation
with no prior
knowledge indicator
in non-volume...
unpublished form.

Is perceived
textured style
stretching margins;
seemingly fixed?
Exemplifying weighted scales;
symbolizing measure!

The only
touchstone symphony;
accurate
acquittal accord.
Which will signature serve;
as yield yardstick?
