Pray For A Better World

We use gift our time
energy love abilities
the blessings of peace
posterity gifted to us;
yet denied to so many
throughout our world
to serve God and society
to do what little we may.

While we still can
we must always hope
pray for a better world
for lost souls as God;
commanded even though
we know much evil
suffering is still to come
pass because God granted;

humanity each individual
life soul free personal choice.
