Politics Attracts A Certain Mind Set

governments are seldom
part of the solution
often part of the problem

politics attracts
a certain mind set
immoral values?

allegiance sold
to shifting highest
bidders made

all power corrupts
absolute power
absolutely corrupts

might proves
who is strongest
not who is right

when will contemporary
twenty-first century
politicians prove quality

take high moral ground
on serious global political issues
partisan policy neglected?
