Grim Reaper Creeping

melancholy serene pallor
wrinkle-less sour lip
telling complete tragedy
confessed contempt

who commissioned artist
a youthful death accepted
or bitterly pierce felt sorrow
shadow death contemplated

impending parting agony
approaching death steals
souls taken in youth blood
life pulse short struck down

life acts play short lived
final curtain scene haunts
bitter fruit to savour
is putrid plaintive flesh
