Gift Of A Beautiful Song

sweet gift of a beautiful song
is given heartfelt forever
like mystic beauty of heather

growing wild on windswept moor
some beauty mellow appeals
to daytime inner ear eye forever

beauty gift given eternally
lights up blessed receptive souls
like dawn birth blazing sun

Inspired by the song ‘Get Some Sleep' by Bic Runga.
