Final Death Bed Redemption?

what is this vision
a human skeleton
praying upon knees?

arms outstretched palms
pressed together skull
raised toward heaven?

is this hope sought
final death bed atonement
redemption salvation?

is this pious final proof
of saint life lead consummation
or final life parted confession?
