When we were young/ It was another world

WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

When we were young
It was another world-
Now we will never be young again
How can that be?

In life we lose in time
So many things-
We lose our capacity for life
In many ways-

We die
And continue to live-

How can we be
When we will never again be
What we loved?
