What Is A Poem?

WHAT IS A POEM?

What is a poem?
Where is a poem?
Once there were poems
Now there is only dreaming
In diverse directions
Far from home.

What is a poem?
Where am I?
Words once were lights
And now the darkness decides
That the morning can come
Only if I hear myself say to you
‘Blessed is this day now’

I
