What Can A Poem Do

WHAT CAN A POEM DO

What can a Poem do
To mitigate
All the rage
All the frustration
All the failure and stupidity
All the meaningless endless nonsense
In my own life?
What can a poem do
Against problems
Which can take years to solve
When I am already too old?
What can a Poem
Do
Except calm me down now
For yet another time
As the Folly of my life
Continues
And goes on and on
With me
To the end?
