Today Is Not My Day/Nothing Goes Right

TODAY IS NOT MY DAY? / NOTHING GOES RIGHT

Today is not my day,
Nothing goes right-
But I must try to make
This day my day-

Poemless and stuck so far
I loosen myself up
And write these words-

What does it all mean anyway
in the long end
of all ends?

This day too now must be my day
Despite the pain the slowness and the disappointments

The children in the Gan opposite also play
As if the whole world
Depended on their game
at this moment.
