The Poems Were Lost Long Ago

The poems were lost long ago
Long before I was born
To seek them is to go beyond reason and mind
It is to go where only the lost hearts have been
Beyond the seeming of all seeing
And the simple feeling of a wholly blessed world

The poems were lost long ago
I will never find them
I will never know them
They belong to others
In other worlds
Greater than mine
I know somehow they somehow will always be there
But I will never find them.
