The Poem Was Feelings / Somehow Beyond Words

The poem was feelings
Somehow beyond words-
But without words
It could not be a poem-

There was no poem
There were feelings that wanted to be a poem
And could not-

And there were poems elsewhere
That belonged to other worlds
To other writers and readers.
