Surprise Is Our Life

EVERY DAY IS ANOTHER QUESTION

Every day is another question
Surprise is our life-
We do not know
We cannot know
From morning to evening
How it will mean.
Yet praying to God
We strive to be a bit alright-
Before we walk out the door
To the unknown and non-waiting world.
