Small And Quiet
SMALL AND QUIET
Small and quiet joys
Like small and quiet poems
Are what I can expect now.
The time for great Dreams and Adventures
Is gone
I don’t have the strength for them.
These little lines are what I can manage
Not much more
Withered and diminished fingers touch these keys
And all I can sing with them
is slow and careful songs.
