If There Has Been One Poem Today

IF THERE HAS BEEN ONE POEM TODAY

If there has been one poem today,
Can there be another?
Should there be another?
Isn’t one poem enough
For a day
A year
A life?
To have written one true poem?

But was it a true poem?
And is this a true poem?
And have I ever written a true poem?
