I Was So Happy With Myself

I WAS SO HAPPY WITH MYSELF

I was so happy with myself
That I forgot who I am-
I am only one person one voice
And now matter how good or strong that voice
It is only one voice
And the world has so many voices different from mine
More beautiful and more insightful in so many ways-

No matter how long I go on writing
There will really only be one of me
Even I most often love to read others
Far more than I love to read myself.
