I Cannot Go Ahead

I CANNOT GO AHEAD

I cannot go ahead-
Today is not the day -
I just don’t have the right feeling in me-
I confess
I make excuses-

Out of the confession and excuses
I try to overcome
By writing these poor lines.

I feel in spite of all I have done
Or tried to do
That I have truly done nothing
And all depends only
On my building my confidence
By writing this would- be- poem now.

And now that I have done it
I not knowing whether it real or not
I feel, wrongly or not,
‘I am beginning to open and flow again’.
