I Am An Almost- Old Man

I AM AN ALMOST OLD MAN

I am an almost- old man
Walking through the park
In the morning.

I see in the distance
A much older man
Shuffling slowly along.
I imagine him here everyday-
He has nowhere to go.
And is disconsolate among all the beauty.

I still feel
the Grass and Trees
As Hope.

Will I one day too be
Beyond all this Green?
