And What Am I In My Old Age?

AND WHAT AM I IN MY OLD AGE?

And what am I in my old age?
A man in despair
A man not there-
A man nowhere
An old old old complaining old sad man
With nothing in his hands-
A poor old man
And glad-
A glad old man and sad
Singing his own song still-
And laughing at his own vanity and stupidity.
