ALL THE POEMS IN THE WORLD MEAN NOTHING TO ME

All the poems in the world mean nothing to me
Beside the life of loved ones-
If by stopping writing
I could end the threat to them
I would never write another line-
God I pray help us live safely
through this present round of violence
