Literature mirrors not
What its society packs.
It mirrors what it lacks.
It is a negative reflector
And vacuum filler.
Slavery gave heroic epics.
Poverties pave for kingly epics.
Romance sprang from sexual taboo.
Eroticism clang of perversion
